AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 482
The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does ordain as
5 follows:
6 SECTION 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 482 of the City of
7 Seal Beach is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Every person owning or having control of any dog
in the City of Seal Beach Shall pay a license tax of
$3.00 per annum for each dog so owned or controlled by

him.
"The license shall be dated em the 1st day of

January of each year, unless it be issued on or after
14
July 1, in which case it shall be dated the 1st day of
July, and shall be void on the 1st day of January, or
the 1st day of July, respectively, thereafter."
SECTION 2: Section 9 of Ordinance No. 482 of the City of
Seal Beach is hereby amended to read as follows:

"In case it is satisfactorily proven to the pounCi.-

master that a license for the then current year has
been paid upon any dog impounded, said dog shall be
released upon payment of fees and charges as follows:
"(a) A boarding charge of $1. 00 per day, or any
part of a day, while the dog is impounded.
"(b) A fee of $2.00 the first time a dog is im-

pounded, $3.00 for the second impounding, and $5.00
for the third and each subsequent impounding, if any
or all such impoundings occur within a period of
twelve (12) consecutive months."

SECTION 3: Ordinance No. 482 of the City of Seal Beach is
31 hereby amended to add thereto Section 9A, to read as follows:

release of said dog, shall pay to the poundmaster
the sum of $2.00 plus the annual license fee.n
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
6 adoption of this ordinance by the City Council of Seal Beach and
7 shall cause the same to be published once in the "Seal Beach Post
8 and wave", a newspaper of general circulation, published and circu-
9 1ated in the City of Seal Beach.
10 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
11 of Seal Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the tv day of
