A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF SEAL BEACH ESTABLISHING BUILDING PERMIT AND PLAN CIlECK FEES AND RESCINDING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLIC!l IlEREWITH. 1 THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES IlEREBY RESOLVE: WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 855 of the City of Seal Beach does provide that a schedule of appropriate fees shall be paid to the Building Official as established by resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby declared that in the interest of conformity with the fees adopted by other neighboring jurisdictions and the state of the economy the fee schedules for permits and plan cheeks shall be as follows: 1. BulldiM fees shall be as shown on Exhibit "A" attached. 2. Valuation data shall be as shown on Exhibit "B" attached. 3. Grading fees shall be as shown on Exhibit "c" attached. Ii. Miscellaneous fees shall be as shown on Exhibit "D" attached. 5. PIUlllbing fees shall be as shown on Exhibit "E" attached. 1 6. Automatic Fire Extinguishing System fees shall be as shown on Exhibit "F" attached. 7. Mechanical fees shall be as shown on Exhlbit "G" attached. 8. Electrieal fees shall be as shown on Exhibit ilK" attached. BE IT FUllTHER RESOLVED tliat all resolutions pertaining to building fees are hereby rescinded. Residential (Single or Multi-family): Fees listed hereinbelow for n'ew construction include, when this formula is applied to the square footage area of the building, all electrical installations: (a) One and one-half cents (l~~) per square foot, plus $3 on a single family residence and $5 on a multi- family residence for each service meter, plus $3 for permit issuance.
