RESOLUTION NUMBER 1807
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, A CHARTER CITY, URGING
CONTINUATION OF PRESENT IMPORT QUOTAS ON LOW
SULPIlUR CONTENT FUEL OIL IN THE INTERESTS OF
AIR POLLUTION IN SOUTIIERN CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the present quotas on low sulphur content fuel oil
is due to be terminated on March 15, 1970, and
I~EREAS, air pollution is a matter of great concern to the
people of the City of Seal Beach, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of Seal Beach, California, hereby endorse the statement
of the Los Angeles County Air Pollution Control District of
July 10, 1969, and, in the interests of air pollution control
in the Southern California air basin, urges the continuation
of the present import quotas on low sulphur content fuel oil
which are due to be terminated on ~Iarch 15, 1970.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Seal Beach, California at a meeting thereof held on the
6th day of October, 1969, by the following vote:
