RESOLUTION NUMBER 1867 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE COST OF THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN COLLEGE PARK EAST AND WEST AREAS. The city Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, does hereby resolve: WHEREAS, On the 18th day of January, 1965, the City of Seal Beach, California, entered into an agreement with S & S Construction company, Inc" a California Corporation, whereby S & S Construction COmpany, Inc., agreed to sell, assign, and transfer the water distribution system to be constructed in the area designated as Annexation 64-1 and the City agreed to buy said water distribution system for the sum of $699,855, or the actual total cost thereof, whichever figure is lesser: and WHEREAS, S & S Construction company, Inc" has determined that the cost of the afore-mentioned water distribution system and the City Enginner has reviewed said costs and concurs that actual costs equal or surpass the cost determined by S & S Construction Company, Inc. ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, that it accepts and approves the sum of the following costs as the cost to be reimbursed to S & S Construction company, Inc., under the terms and conditions of that certain agreement first mentioned above. and that it acquire by deed in fee Lots 116 through 125, inclusive, of Tract #6177, Tract No, Cost Tract No, Cost 5699 $30,840,61 6415 26,870,98 6179 37,886,80 6460 30,854,27 6177 53,398,31 6172 6,014,94 6572 41,969,93 6421 27,758,39 6175 44,327,50 6174 15,922,26 6571 37,667,06 6416 24,610,60 6477 30,413,17 6016 43,794.16 6173 22,334,63 5961 7,010,54 Lots 116 through 125, inclusive, Tract 6177 90,000,00 TOTAL 591,674,15 PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of June, 1970, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT : Anderson, Dreis, Fuhrman, Gummere, Hamilton None None ~' ~ ~~$ ~ C' Cle -" ". , , , ~ .
