A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION, THROUGH
NEGOTIATION OR EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS. OF AN
EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES THROUGH THE
REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED. IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED
HERETO.
The General welfare of the inhabitants of the '
City of Seal Beach, requires acquisition of an
easement for public utility purposes through
the real property described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto; and , .
The City of Seal Beach is empowered pursuant to
Section 200 of the City Charter, the California
Constitution, and the general laws of the State
of California, to acquire private property for
public use;
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS ,
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, A CHARTER CITY,
that the City Manager and the City Attorney are
hereby authorized and directed to acquire, either
by negotiation or by eminent domain proceedings,
an easement for public utility purposes through
that certain real property described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto.
