RESOLUTION NUMBER /7 dJ' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, A CHARTER CITY, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF BAY BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTIONS TO PROCEED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941, AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION. The City Council of the City of Seal Beach does resolve as follows: Section 1. Declaration of Intention. The City C9unci1 declares its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Bay Boulevard, at the North American Rockwell Corporation site, on the grounds that this area is not required for public purposes. Section 2. Election to Proceed. The City Council elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 19~1. - .. . Section 3. Description of the Proposed Vacation. Bay Boulevard as described in Exhibit "A" attached part hereof, and shown on a map marked Exhibit liB" and made a part hereof. That portion of hereto and made a attached hereto Section 4. Hearin~. A public hearing will be held on the 3rd day of September, 1968, at 8:00 p.m., before the City Council in the Council Chamber at the Seal Beach City Hall, at which time and place all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation will be heard. Section 5. postinR of Notice. The City Clerk is instructed to cause to be posted notices of street vacation in tmis matter in accordance with the provisions of Section 8322, Streets and Highways Code of the State 'of California.
