A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SE.lU. BEACH, C.lU.IFORNIA, GIVING NOTICE OF A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, ON THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE
RIVERFRONT REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Seal Beach,
California, and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Seal Beach,
California, have set February 20, 1969, at the hour of 5:00 o'clock,
p.m., as the time, and fixed the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
20l 8th Street, Seal Beach, California, as the place for a joint
public hearing to be held by the Council and the Agency to consider
the approval and adoption of the proposed Redevelopment plan for the
Riverfront Redevelopment Project. The Agency will undertake the
proposed project if after joint public hearing the Council approves
and adopts the proposed Redevelopment Plan.
The purpose of the joint public hearing is to consider:
1. The Redevelopment Plan submitted by the Agency,
which plan proposes the undertaking of the project
under state and local law, and provides for such
activities as acquisition of land in the proposed
project area through negotiation, eminent domain,
or other means; demolition, site preparation, con-
struction of project improvements and supporting
facilities; disposition of land in the proposed
project area; and owner participation.
2. The report of the Agency on the proposed
Redevelopment ,Plan.
3. The reports and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission on the proposed Redevelopment
Plan.
4. All evidence and testimony for and against the
adoption of the Redevelopment Plan.
At the above stated day, hour, and place any and all persons having
any objections to the proposed Redevelopment Plan, or who deny the
existence of blight in the proposed project area, or to the regularity
of any of the prior proceedings, may appear before the Agency and the
Council and show cause why the proposed Redevelopment Plan shou~a not
be adopted.
At any time not later than the hour aforesaid set for hearing, any
person objecting to the proposed Redevelopment Plan may file in
writing with the city Clerk a statement of his objections to the
proposed Redevelopment llan. Any person or organization desiring to
be heard will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. At the afore-
said hour the Council shall proceed to hear and pass upon al written
and oral objections to the proposed Redevelopment Plan.

The proposed Redevelopment Plan and OWner participation Rules
adopted by the Agency are now on file and open for public inspection
both in the office of the City Clerk in 'the City Hall, and in the
office of the Agency at the City Hall, 20l 8th Street, Seal Beach,
California, 90740.

Beginning at the most northwesterly point of Tract #l8l7, said north-
westerly point also being on the easterly line of Pacific Coast Highway
(lOO feet in width, as shown on said Tract #l8l7): thence southerly
along said easterly line to its intersection with the southwesterly
prolongation of the southerly 'line of Marvista Avenue (as, shown on said
Tract #l8l7): thence southwesterly in a direct line to that point of
intersection of the southerly right of way line of Fifth Street, 80 feet
in width, and the westerly right of way line of Pacific Coast Highway,

westerly along said southerly line of, Fifth Street to the most westerly

right of way line of Electric Avenue north as shown on said map: thence
southeasterly along said northeasterly line and its southeasterly pro-
longation to its intersection with the easterly right of way line of
Bay Boulevard, 80 feet in width: thence southwesterly along said
easterly right of way line and its southwesterly prolongation to the
northeasterly right of way line of Electric Avenue south as shown on

line of Electric Avenue south to the southeasterly boundary of said
