daylight savings time on the last Sunday in April and back again
to the standard time on the last Sunday in October: and
WHEREAS, congressman Craig Hosmer and other legislators have checked
thoroughly into t~is matter, and the bill does bear merit in many
ways and would be extremely advantageous to all fields of industry
and to family life in general: and

savings time schedule would bring is more leisure time out-of-doors
for families, and more after school playtime for children during
the fall and winter months: and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that most crimes are committed after dark,
and so a year-round daylight savings time would tend to lessen
cr ime : and

time would provide for a decrease in electricity costs for each
family: and

about a decrease in traffic accidents during the after-work rush
