AN ORDINANCE CREATING A "PARKING LOT FUND" WITHIN: THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA; PROVIDING FOR . .I!llU'.I!ai.uITURES FROM SAID FUND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR P AR!S OF ORDINANCES IN CD NFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION THEREOF., The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, 6 does ordain as follows a < 7 Sec1;.ion lo: There is hereby created a fund known and 8 designated as the "Parking Lot Ftmd", which 1'1md shall be used C: 9 exclusively for the purposes hereinafter specified. 10 Sect).on ~I All revenue received from off-street: parking 11 areas within the City are hereby levied and assessed as fees to 12 provide for the purchase, control and maintenance of additional l3 parking lots as hereinafter provided; the City Treasurer shall plac 14 all moneys so collected in a special fund to be known as the "Park- 15 ing Lot Fund", which fund shall be used exclusively for the purpose 16 hereinafter specified. TELEPHONE ese.t98 l7 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 Sec1J.on ~:r; Funds deposited and placed in the "Parking Lot Fund" shall first be used and expended for the purpose of payIng the purchase price of or annual installment payments on the purchas price of real property hereinafter purchased by the City for use as a parking lot and City park, provided, however, that in the event there is an excess of funds remaining in said "Parking Lot Fund" at the end of any fiscal year, such exoess shall become a 271 28 part of the General Fund of the City. Sec1;iqJl '+: This Ordinance shall be deemed to be in addition and supplementary to, and not in con;flict with, nor a repeal of existing Ordinances of the City, but shall be an addi- tional provision for the purChase of real property to be used as I 29 30 31 parking lots or parks provided herein.
