RESOLUTION NO. 1285
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
C I'rY OF SEAL BEACH ADOPTING AND. SUBMITTING
A.BUDGET FOR ExPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED
FROM THE S,TATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES.
THE CITY C?9UNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLO....,S:

wHEREAs. a-master a~eement has been executed by the City' and'
the Stat~:,O~ California on March 17. 1961. for expenditure of funds
allocated from the State highway fund to c~ties; and,
.: WHli![!!lAS. the State Division of Highways on July l7, 1963,
app~o~e~ a budget for expenditure of such funds to be made during
the 196~~64 fiscal year; and,
\~EREAS, a revised project statement has been prepared for
PrQje~t 3.7 (Maintenance of City Streets) showing estimated
!lxpenditure~..of such funds recoIllll1ended to be made during the
1963-64 fisoal year; ,and,
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said revised project
state~ent and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE. be it resolved by the city council of the City of
Seal BeaQh,t~~t said prqject statement be and it is hereby adopted
~s the revised budget of proposed expenditures on Project 37 of
the gas tax'allocation to cities, said project statement be and,
the same is hereby approved and the Director of Public Works is
directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and s~id
project statement to be submitted to the Department of Public
Works, State of California. in accordance-with the prOVisions of
~ection,197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
APPROVED AND SUBMITTED THIS 2nd DAY OF MARCH. 1964.
