CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE OF THE NOMINATING PRIMARY ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ON THE 28th DAY OF APRIL. 1964, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH 'OTHER MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW. WHEREAS. a regular nominating primary municipal election was held and conducted in the City of Seal Beach, County of Orange. State of Cal~fornia, on Tuesday the 28th day of April, 1964. as required by law;' and WHEREAS. notice of said election was duly and regularly given in time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting precincts were properly established; that election officers were appointed and that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat, received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as required by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of California for the holding of elections in general law cities and the City Charter; and WHEREAS, on the 5th day of May, 1964. at the hour of 8:00 P.M.. the City Council duly assembled at its usual place of meeting and has canvassed the returns of said election and as a result of which, the City Council finds that the number of votes cast and the names of the persons' voted for, the office each person was voted for. and other matters required by law to be as stated hereinafter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL lIACH, CALIFORNIA. DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: ~ECTION 1. That there were 2l voting precincts established for the purpose of holding said election consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Seal Beach. Calif- ornia, as established for the holding of state and county elections. SECTION 2. That said regular Primary Nominating election was held for the purpose of nominating the following officers of said City as required by the Charter of the City of Seal Beach and general laws of the State of California. to wit: 1 MAmber of the City Counci1 of said City for the full term of four years; District 2 1 Member of the City Council of said City for the full term of four years; District 4 A City Clerk of said City for the full term of four years; A City Treasurer of said City for the full term of four years. SECTION 3. That the whole number of vQtes cast in said said City(except absent voter ballots) was 3681. That the whole number of absent voter uallots cast in said City was 109 making a total of 3790 votes cast in said City. SECTION 4. That the names of persons voted for at said election for Member of the City Council of said City are as follows: Robert Griswold Samuel Dobr1s Lloyd E. Gummere Joseph J.
