AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 280 BY AMENDING
SECTION , THEREOF. REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDIKANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH;
AND PROVIDIl;G FOR PUBLICATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, Calif-
ornia, does ordain as follows:
That Ordinance No. 280 of the City of Seal Beach,
California, entitled, IIAn Ordinance of the City of Seal Beach, Cali-
fornia, Amending Ordinance No. 244 by Amending Section , ~hereof;
and Replacing All Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances in Conflict
Therewith; and Providing for Publication Thereof", and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach on the 2nd day of
December, 1943 be amended by amending Section , thereof to read
as follows:
Section 2. There shall be paid to the Fire Department
as compensation of its members for attending any fires, fire
dril1s and meetings the sum of one hundred and sixty-six and
66/100 dollars ($166.66) per month, payable monthly upon demand,
or demands, properly drawn, audited and allowed by said City.
Such compensation shall be retroactive and have full force and
effect from and after the first day of July, 194,.
Section ~ All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section ~ The City Clerk shall cause this ordinance
to be published once in th~ Seal Beach Post & Uave, a newspaper
of general circulation printed and published in said City, and
said ordinance shall thereupon take effect in the manner and at
