California. under Ordinance No. 154. en- 16 ti tied: "An Ordinance of the City of 'Seal Beach. 17 California. for the assessment and collection of 18 taxes in said City, the appointment of a Deputy.City 19 Clerk who shall be Ex-Officio Tax Assessor, and Re- 20 pealing Ordinance No. 12. and all Ordinances or parts 21 of Ordinances in conflict herewith," did at a General 22 Municipal Election held in said City on April 14th, 23 1930, and wh~ch such Ordinance was submitted as an 24 Initiative, cast a sufficient number of votes in favo 25 of the adoption of such Ordi nance, relative to the 26 assessment and collection of taxes by said City and 27 for said municipal corporation, and by said Ordinance 28 there was created in said City the Office of a Deputy 29 City Clerk who shall be Ex-Officio Assessor and Tax AN ORDINARCE OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES NECESSARY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH~ AND TO PAY THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS FALLI~G DUE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR 1943- 1944- FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE CURRENT YEAR 1943-1944; DESIGNATING THE NLffiffiER OF CENTS ON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF PROPERTY VALUATION FOR THE VARIOUS FUNDS OF SAID CITY UPON THE UHOLE OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY OF SAID CITY AS ASSESSED BY TEE CITY ASSESSOR AND EQUALIZED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY AND HEREBY L3VIED UPON THE VmOLE OF SUCH TAXABLE PRO- P1RTY OF SAID CITY OF SEAL BEACH. 30 Collector of said City; and. 31 rlliEREAS, such Assessor has completed an Assess- 32 ment of all taxable property within the corporate DANA R. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 20 COUNCIL, as follows: Section 1: That the total valuation of the 22 taxable property of the City of Seal Beach is the sum 23 of $7,185.095.00 and shall be used as a basis for the 24 levy of the taxes for the City of Seal Beach, Califor ie 25-'- which levy shall be made and collected as by law pro- 26 vided. 27 Section 2: That the rate or taxes for munici- 28 pal purposes and to pay the bonded indebtedness and 29 interest of the City of Seal Beach. For the Waterworks Bond Indebtedness Fund of 1922 $.0361 on each One Hundred Dollars of the taxable property of said City; 7.
