Section Ji:ail'lo person shall erect or maintDin any billboard or s imilDr sign bODrd, the advertising surface of which is less than four(4)feet distant from the immediDte adjoining property line; provided, however, that the adverthing surface of a billboard may be placed Dgainst a blank wall co-existent with the immediate Ddjoining property line. b. The issuance of a permit shall mot be deemed or con- strued to be II permit for or an approval of any violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance. The erection and construction of all bill- boards and similar sign boa~ds shall bo subject at all times to inspection by said Building Inspector with authority to stop construction at any time for any vio1~tion of thisordinance or its provisions. Section B: -~ch Viol~tion Separate Offense. ~very pereon violating or contributing in any way to the violation of any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a separate offonse for each day dur- ing which such violation continuos end shall be punishable therefor as horein provided. l,age 2. Section 11: All ordinances or ~arts of orl1nances in oonflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 12: The City Clerk shall couse this ordinance to be published once in the Sell1 l3each Post Ct: ~';tlve, g newspaper of goneral circulation, printed, published and circulated in soid City of Seal Beach, and it sha 11 thereupon tal:e ~ffect.
