AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION (c) OF SECTION
1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 136 BEING AN ORDINANCE AMEND-
ING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. l~ OF THE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH CALIFORNIA ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY of SEAL BEACH; CALIFORNIA,..REGULATING
TRAFFIC OF VEHICLES UPuN HIGRVlAYS A1~D OTHER PUBLIC
PLACES IN SAID CITY; PROVIDING FOR BOULEVARD STOPS,
SCHOOL SAFETY ZONES AND OBEDIENCE TO TRAFFIC SIGNS;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; and
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF."

8 The Board of Trustees of the City of Seal Beach do or-
9 dain as follows:
10 Section 1. That Subsection (c) of Section 1, Ordinance
11 No. 136 of the City of Seal Beach, California, entitled: "An Or-
12 dinance Amending Section 1, of Ordinance No. 130 of the City of
13 Seal Beach, California, Entitled IAn Ordinance of the City of Seal
14 Beach, California, Regulating Traffic of Vehicles upon Highways and
15 Other Public Places in Said City; Providing for Boulevard stops,
16 School Safety Zones and Obedience to Traffic Signs; Repealing all
17 Ordinances in Conflict Herewith and Providing Penalties for the
18 Violation Thereof. I" be &mended as folloYls:
19 Section 1: Upon approaching Central Avenue
at its intersection with First Street, Second Street, Third Street,

Fourth Street, Fifth Street, Sixth Street, Seventh Street and Eighth
Street, it shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to fail
to bring such vehicle to a complete stop at the limit line indicated
by a sign or mark placed upon said Central Avenue by the Board of
Trustees, or caused to be placed thereon at the property line of
Central Avenue; provided, however, that when any of such intersectio
are controlled by a police officer or by a traffic signal no vehicle
shall be stopped as above provided when the signal to proceed has
been given.
Section 2: The City Clerk shall cause this
Ordinance to be published once in the "Seal Beach Post and Wave", a
newspaper ppinted and published and generally circulated in the City

1 of Seal Beach, California, and cause this Ordinance to be posted in
at least three public places in the City of Seal Beach, and it shall
take effect thirty days after its final peasage.
Section 3: All Ordinances, or parts of Or-
dinanoes, in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
The above Ordinance passed, adopted and approved this
6th day of November, 1930, by the following vote, to-wit:
