The Board of Trustees and City Counoil of the City of Seal Beach, California, do ord8in as follC1NS: Section 1. The duties of the City Clerk shall be such as are defined by law and General statutes, and Ordinences end Resolutions of said City not in conflict therewith. In addition thereto the City Clerk shall issue all business: licenses as and when the fee required by Ordin~nces of the City are paid in advance, and in the absence of the Water Superintendent, receive, at her office, any payments for weter bills, and deposit such receipts in the proper fund, or funds, provided therefor. (c) Department of the City Treasurer. The City Treasurer shall perform such duties as monthly, a sum eqllivalent to one-hal f of one p'lr CP.Tlt (~ of 1%) of all city funds deposited through said office. Sec. 3. All City officials, roJ ective or ap- pointive, having offices in the City Hall BUilding, with the exception of the City Treasurer, Recorde~ or City Juqge, 5. . I I ,I . . Sec. 4. All Ordinances, parts of Ordinances and Resolutions in conflict with this Ordinance, are hereby re- peeled. Sec. 5.
