CALIFORHA, DECLARnm AND DEDICATDG
FffiST STREET, CENTRAL AVENUE, OCEAN AVENUE
AND ELECTRIC AVENUE SOUTH: AS bOULEVARDS
AND PROHIBITING TRUCKmG AND HAULING WITH
CERTAIN VEHICLES UPON SAID BOULEVARDS AND
REPEALING AliiL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH.

do ordain a s followlil:
Section 1:
That Fi~st Street, from its
intersection with Central Avenue to its intersection with
Ocean Avenue~ Ocean Avenue, trom its intersection with

First Street to its intersection with Electric Avenue South;
Central Avenue, from its intersection with the Coast Boule-
vard to its intersection with Main Street, Electric Avenue
South, from its intersection with the Coast Boulevard
to its intersection with Bay Boulevard,
in said City
of Seal Beach, California, are hereby declared to oe and
are designated as open Boulevards.
Sec. 2.
It is hereby declared to be un-
lawful for any person, firm or corporation, association,
trust or syndicate, whether as principal, agent, serv_nt,
employee or otherwise, to operate or drive any truck, tank,
wagon or other wagon or vehicle ror.hauling, peddling or
delivering crude oil, petroleum, distillate, gasoline, refined
oil or sny product of an oil'well, sand, cement, gravel, beets
hay, grain, beans, lumber, brick, pipe, tubing, casing,
machinery, mud, or other freight or materials upon said Boule-
vards, save and except those delivery wagon' trucks or
vehicles making necessary and re~lar calls on the hou~es
stores, business properties or premises located on said
Boulevards.

Sec. .::I.
Any person violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance, shall be guilty or a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be punishable "t a fine not exceeding
Fifty Dollars ($50.00) or by imprisonment in the City Jail not
exceeding thirty (30) days, or by both such tine and imprison.

Sec. 4.
The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance
to be published once in the "Seal Beach Post and Wave", a
newspaper printed and published and gen~rally circulated in
the City or Seal Beach, California, and caUse this Ordinance
to be posted in a t least three public places in the City of
Seal BeaCh, and it shall take effect thirty days atter its
rinal passage.
Sec. 5.
All O!dinances or parts or Ordinances
in contlict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
The above ordinance passed, adopted and approved
this 55 day of ~ ' 1927, by tre rollowing
vote, to wit:
