I 27 28 29 30 31 . 32 ~ . r'wa ORlDINANCE NO; 104 An Ordinance of the City of Seal Beach regulating the use and operation of vehicles upon the publio streets, bridges, an~ elseuhere in sai~ City; and providing penalties for the violation thereof. The Board of Trustees of the City of Seal Beach do ordain as follads: SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any person riding, driving, operating, or in charge of any motor vehicle or other vehicle, to cause, suffer, or permit any suoh motor vehicle or other vehiole to be driven, ridden, or operated over any bridge or across any grade crossing of any steam, electric, or street railway, or in tr~versing an intersection of streets, or in traversing or going ~round curves or corners of any street inter- section, or in passing a school, or in the business distriot of said City, at a rate of s~eed in excess of fifteen (15) miles an hour. A business district, for the purposes of this Ordin~nce, shall mean the territory contiguous to a street ~hich is on the line of sai~ street mainly built up 0ith structures devoted to business. SECTION 2: It shall be unla~ful for any person to ride, drive, or operate any motor vehicle or other vehiole upon any other street or hishway ~ithin the said City of Seal BeaCh, at a rate of speed in eAcess of t"enty (20) miles per hour. SECTION 4: All Ordinanoes, or parts of Or~inanoes, 1n oonfliot ~ith this Or dinanoe, and to the extent that they effeot this Ordinance, are to that extent hereby repealed. SECTION 5: The City Clerk shall oertify to the passage of this Ordinance and oause the same to be ~o11shed onoe in the SEAL BEACH POST A~rD UAVE, a newspaper of gen~raloirculation, printed ana published in the City of Seal Beach, C~lifornia, and thirty (30) days there~fter the s~aa s~ll ~ake effeot and be in force. mE President of the Board of Trustees of the City of Seal Beach, California.
