AN ORDINANCE OF THE ClrY OF SEAL BEACH FInNG THE AlIOUNT

OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED IlY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE PRO-
PERTY IN SAID CITY, AS A REVENUE TO CARRY OU THE VARIOUS DEIART-
IlENTS OF SAID CITY FOR THE CUJlRENT YEAR.
'!'he Board of Trustees of the City of Seal Reach do ordain
as follows:
Section I. That the total value of the property within
the City of Seal Beach, California as ascertained from the assess-
ment books of the County of Orange, California, for the current
year as equalized and corrected by the Board of Supervisors of
said Oounty, and as shown by the official statement in writing
transmitted to the Board of Trustees of the City of Seal Beach by
the Auditor of said Oounty of Orange, is, 8646,626.001
That the amount of money necesst'.ry to be raised by taxatio
upon the taxable property in said City of Seal Beach, as a revenue
to carry on the various departments of said City for the current
year, to-wit: The fiscal year 1921-1922 , and to pay the bonded
or otheT indebtedness of said City is hereby estimated and fixed
as follows, to-wit: 89697.875.

Section 2. This ordinance is required for the levy and
collection of municipal taxes for said City of Seal Beach and
is necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace,
health and safety, and the facts constituting its urgency are as
follows:

It is necessary and expedient that this Ordinance take
effect before said Board of Trustees fixes the tax rate for the
current year of said City of Seal Beach.

The said tax rate/required by law to be fixed by said
Board .not later than the last Tu~SdaY in August of each year.
This Ordinance must take effect before the time when said tax rate
