ALL words and terms used herein which are defined in the State Employees' Retirement.LaW shatt have the meaning as defined, therein unless otherwise specificatty provided. "Norm.al retirment age" shatt mean age 65 f9r miscellaneous members and age 60 for local firemen, local policemen and county peace officers. ' 2. Benefits on account of each year of prior service for miscell~ aneous members shall be 100 percent of the fraction of final compensation provided under Paragraph 4 above., 6. Any miscetlane'Ous member who, upon retirement for service before age 65, is fully insured under Federal Old-age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance may elect to receive the actuarial equivalent of his unmodified' service retirement allowance in the form of an increased monthly income until he reacqes age 65 and a reduced income thereafter in accordance with the provi.sions of Section 21703v The following provisions of the State Employees' Retirement Law which apply only upon election of a contracting agency shall apply to the Public Agency and its employees: a. - Sect~on 21252.001 (providing ,for, a guaranteed , ' percentage of final compensation for each year of current service). b. Section 21252,5 (provid:l.ng for a guaranteed percent- age of final compensatiqn for each'year of current service for local firemen, locaL policemen., or county peace officers), c. Contributions required of Public Agency and its employees shall be subject to adjustment by Board on account of amendments to the State Employees' Retirement Law:, and on account of experience \lnder the Retirement Sy.stem, as determined by the, pel"iodicaL investigation and vaLuation required by said Retirement Law. 10. Contributions required of Public Agency and its employees sha 1 be paid by Public Agency to the RetiremeQt System within thirty days after the end of the period to which sai.d . contributions refer.
