RESOLUTION NO. ~.

Whereas, there has been this day been presented to the City
Council of the C1ty of Seal Beach, a letter dated November lOth
I
from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Cencus, Washington,
D. C. consenting to a requeet of the Mayor, for a special census.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Seal Beach, that the Mayor of said City be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to make application and enter into agree-
ment with the Director of the Census, Department of Commerce, for
the taking of said Census, of the City of Seal Beach, County ot
Orange, State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the C1ty Treasurer, of the City of
Seal Beach be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to deposit
the sum of $316.50 (Three Hundred Sixteen and 50/100 Dollars), in
a Special Account with the Bank of America, Belmont Shore Branch,
Long Beach, california, which sum of money shall be subject to the
check of the Bppervisor appointed by the foresaid Governmental
Agency, and to be used by him or her to apply on the expense of the
enumeration of said census, and that said sum of money is to be and
hereby is made a charge payable out of the General Fund of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that there is hereby made available the
further sum of $252.20, (Two Hundred Fifty Two and 20/100 Dollars),
to defray additional costs and expenses of making the Census, and
such sum is to be and hereby is made a charge payable out of the
General Fund of the City.
