A RESOLUTION OF THE CI1~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH, APPOINTING ELEXlTION OFFICERS AND
DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH
ON TUESDAY, THE 8th DAY OF APRIL, 1952. AND
PROVIDING FOR THE OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE
POLIS AND THE COMPENSATION OF ELECTION OFFICERS.
WHEREAS. it is necessary under the law for the City
Council of the City of Seal Beach to appoint Boards of Election and
to designate the polling places for the municipal election to be held
in the City of Seal Beach on Tuesday. the 8th day of April. 1952.
and to fix the compensation to be paid to election officers; and
WHEREAS, it is also necessary for the City Council of the
City of Seal Beach to fix the hours for the opening and closing of
the polls for the municipal election to be held on the 8th day of
April. 1952;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coumcil of the
City of Seal Beach, that six precincts be established for the pur-
pose of holding said regular municipal election. consisting of the
regular election precincts established for holding county and state
elections in Orange County. California. to-wit:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That each of said election
officers above designated be paid the sum of $10.00 as full com-
p~nsation for their services in conducting said municipal election
to be held on Tuesday. the 8th day of April. 1952. and $10.00 for
each residence used for polling place.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the polls shall be open
at 7:00 o'clock A. M. of said election day and be kept open con-
tinously until 7:00 o'clock P. M.. when the polls shall be closed.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Seal Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
