" e..-:---; _ I RESOLUTION NO. ~ Whereas The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, has made a survey of the bus and transportation service between the City of Seal Beach and the City of Long Beach; and Whereas it is found and determined that said bus service is inadequate to properly service the citizens of Seal Beach; and Whereas the City Council has determined tha~ it is for the best interests of the citizens of Seal Beach that a formal I complaint be filed with the Railroad Commission of the State of California to the end that a complete investigation be made of the existing bus service between the City of Long Beach and the City of Seal Beach, and in particular, that a request be made to extend the bus service by the Lang Motor Bus Corporation from the City of Long Beach on Second Street, through Nap~ into the City of Seal Beach, and return; I NOW, THE REF 0 R E, the City Attorney of said City is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to prepare and file a formal complaint before the Railroad Commission of the State of California requestmg that the Commission make an order directing the. Lang Motor Bus Corporation, and other bus companies, to provide adequate passenger transportation service between the City of Long Beach and the City of Seal Beach. and that Louis E. JaeCkel, Mayor of the City of Seal Beach, is hereby authorized, empowered and di- rected to sign and execute said complaint for and on behalf of the '. " . ~~~y .~"., --:.' ;-r.. r... './ '.....
