RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACHl CALI- FORNIA, DIRECTING THAT A REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION BE HELD The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, does resolve as follows: Whereas by virtue of the general laws and the election code of the State of California a regular municipal election should be held in the City of Seal Beach, Orange County, California, on the 9th day of April, 1946; and Whereas the term of five councilmen is about to expire; and Whereas it'is necessary that a regular municipal election be cal1ed for the election of five councilmen for the City of Seal Beach, three councilmen to be elected for a term of four years and two councilmen to be elected fqr a term of two years; NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach that pursuant to the laws of the State of Cali- fornia and of the Election Code of the State of California, it is hereby ordered that an election be held on the 9th day of April, 1946, for the purpose of electing to tfielo~frce ofoucoumoilman for the City of Seal Beach three (3) members for a term of four (4) years and two (2) members for a term of two (2) years in the manner as provided by law; and Be it further RESOLVED and ordered that four (4) precincts be established for the purpose of holding said regular municipal election, consisting of the regular election precincts established for holding county and state elections, to wit: Votine Precinct H2. 1 Polling Place: 212, 5th Street, Seal Beach, California. -1- I 1 I .. .". ~ Resolution Number ......~ .'.. ~ VotinE Precinct !2. ~ Polling Place: 127, Dolphin Avenue, Seal Beach, California.
