TIONS OF SAID CITY. DEFINING THE DUTIES
INCIDENT THERETO. FIXllIG THE SALARIES
THEREFORE AND TIME OF PAYMENT THEREOF."

AMENDED BY AMENDING SUBSECTION (g) OF
SECTION 2 THEREOF. AND SUBSECTION (g)
OF SECTION 3 THEREOF.
I.
The City Council of the City of Seal Beach. Ca1iforoia, re-
solves as follows:
Section 1. Subsection (g) of Section 2 of Reso1utJ.on No. 636
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2.
(g-:n CITY ENGINEER (retainer fee)
$ 75.00 per month
Actual Engineering Work
20.00 per day

Section 2. Subsection (g) of Section 3 of Resolution No. 636
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 3.
(g-l) CITY ENGINEER: The City Engineer shall perform
all duties that are usually performed by Engineers of a City of the Sixth Class
and shall perform such duties as from time to time may be provided :lior by Ordi-
nances or Resolutions of the City Council.
(g-2) OOn.DING INSPECTOR AND PURCHASING AGENT: The Building
Inspector and Purchasing Agent shall perform such duties as from time to time
shall be provided for by resolutions or ordinances. He shall collect any and all
Contractors's Licenses due the City and pay the same into the Office of the City
Treasurer monthly. He shall make all purchases of supplies. materials and equip:.
ment by or on behalf of said City of Seal Beach in an amount not to exceed TWO

HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00), except upon the authorization of the City Council; he
shall check and approve all demands for the payment of the same and no purchase

shall be made in an amount in excess of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) without
advertising for bids as provided by law. He shall keep an accurate account of
all supplies and materials on hand and render an annual account or inventory of
the same at the close of the fiscal year. He shall make all inspections and all
inspection fees collected by said Inspector shall be paid monthly into the Office
of the City Treasurer.
SEction 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution by the City Council and it shall thereupon take effect.
