A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SaL BEACH.

PROJECT TO BE CONSTRUCTED !If SAID CITY.
UHZREAS,the City of Seal Beach.California,entered into
a certain Agreement with F.S.Currie,Enginellr,on the 13th day of Dec-
ember, 1934, engaging the services of aadR engineer, among other things
more partbularly setforth in said contract, to make a preliminary sur-
vey, report, tenative plans and estimates of cost,of a certain Sewage
Treatment Plant and Outfall Sewer to be constructed in said City,under
a Loan and Grant Agreement with the United States of America,under Fed-
eral Emergency Administration Of Public Uorks, being Docket No.8839,
entitled,"City of Seal Beach Sewage Treatment Plant" ;and,
\VHEREAS6satd Englneer,has entered into and upon such em-
ployment under the terms of said Aereement.and has prepared and sub-
mitted to the CIty Council of said City,said pEsl1minary survey,report,
tenative plans and estimates of cost,for its consideration and approval;
If 0\1, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Seal BeaCh,
County of Orange,State of California, does hereby resolve, determine and
declare; as follows:
1. That the preliminary survey.report,tenative plans and est~-
mates of cost.as submitted by said Engineer to said City Council, be, and
the same are hereby adopted and approved. for the construction of said
Sewage Treatment Plant and Outfall Sewer in said City;that saId tena-
tive plan or_plans be deeigna~ed by. and appropriate n~ber and~y refer-
ence to this Resolution and filed uith the City Clerk of saId City,and
that the type of plant as shpwn thereon be constructed in ~ai~C~ty at

~ 2T That said gin~er be and he is hereby instructed to file
with the STATE ENGINEER,P.\1.A.,306 Oalifornia State Building,Los Angeles,
California, the necessary number of such plans,and such portions of such
survey and report,as may be necessary to seCUI'e the appl'oval of said
office thereof;and shall furnish to the City Attorney for filing with
the State Board of Health.necessary copies thereof and such additional
data as may be necessary to secure a permit for the construction of such
sewage treatment plant and outfall sewer.
3. That the City Clerk shall certify to tha adoption of this
Resolution and forward fourl4,certified co~ies thereof to the State Eng-
ineer,'ederal Emergency Administration Of Public ~or~s,306 Ualifornia
State Building, Los Angeles, California.
