" . .. . , RFSOLUTION NO. :Z9,Z A RESOLUTION OONFIRMING TIlE REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT OF THE OOST OF THE REMOVING OF CER- TAIN WEEDS AND THE ABATE\!:ENT OF THE'SAi':E AS A NUI- SAmE UPON, OR IN FRONT OF,OERTAIN REAL PROPERTIFS IN THE OITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the City Council of the Oity of Seal B~ach,California, did on the 2th~,day of May,1936, by Resolution N~,285, duly intro- duced and adopted, , order that Notice be given to destroy weeds with- in said City, which said Oity Oouncil by said resolution declared. to be a public nuisance; and, WHEREAS, the S~et Superintendent of said city of Sea~ Beach has caused such Notice to be oonspicuously posted in fromt of each par- cel of real property upon which, or in front of which, such nuisance existed, as required by eai~ resolution, and as required by law, at least five(5)days prior to the time for hearing of objectione to the abat.ing of such nuisance; and, WHEREAS, eaid City Oouncil on the 21st day of May,1936, by Reso- lution No,286, dUly introduced and adopted, ordered the Street Super- . inl.endent of said City to abate eaid nuisance upon the property, or in front of which, said nuisance eXieted, there being no persons present at said hearing having any objection to the abatement of said nuisance; and, WHEREAS, the Stlleet Superintendent of said City haa caused to be posted a copy of the attached report upon the bulletin board adjacent to the door of the Oouncil Chamber J.eading from the main corridor at the City Ball Building in said Oity, together with a Notice of the time and place when such report ehall be submitted to said Oity Council for confirmation, and within at least three(3)days pr.ior to ~aid date in said,Notice fixed as the time for considering said report by eaid City Council, and July 16th, 1936, being the time and aaid City 'Council Ghamber .at the hour of eight O'clock P.M.,the place specified in said Notee for the hearing of any objections, and no person appearing to object to eaid report; and, , IT IS, THEREFORE, NOW, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, DETERMINED, RESOloVED ard ORDERED; as follows: That the Report of the Street Superintendent of said City of Seal BeaCh, be confirmed as presented and file~, and that the cost of abating suoh nuisance in front of, or upon each separate lot or parcel of land" be charged against the property upon which such nuisance has been abated for the cost of abating the same, and. that said amount be ,added to reepective aseessments and taxes levied against the said re- epective lots or parcels of land for municipal purposes and be collectec at the same t~e and in the same manner'ae ordinary muniuipal taxes are colleoted, and ehall be eubjeot to the same penalties and the same pro- cedfre under foreclosure in case of de~inquency, ae provided 60r ordi- nary municipal taxes.
