A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE CARE AND EXPENDI-
TURE OF MOIUES RlOClEIVED FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICL:E 5, CHBPTER I OF
THE STREETS AND HIGffi/AYS CODE.
3 The City Council of the City of Seal Beach, California, resolv sJ
4 as follows:
5 Section 1. That in order to comply with the proviaions of Arti
cle 5 of 8hapter I of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
6 California, with particular reference to the amendments msde there-
to by Chppter 642, Statutea of 1935, and any and all aubsequent
7 amendments thereto, there is hereby created in the city treaaury a
special fund to be known aa the "Special Gas Tax Improvement Fund,"

Section 2: All moneys reoeived by the City from the State of I
9 California under the provisions of the Streets and highway Code fo~
the acquiaition of real property on interests therein for, or the I
10 construotion, msintenance or improvement of streets or highways I
other than State highwaya shall be paid into said fund.

Seotion 3: That all moneys in said fund shall be expended ex-
12 clusively for the purpoaea authorized by, and aubjeot to all of the
provisions of ~rtiele 5, Chapter I, Division I of said Streets and
13 Highways Code.

Section 4: That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution by the City Council of the City of Seal BeaCh, Cal
fornia, and it shall thereupon take effect.
