The Oity Oouncil 01' the a~ty of Seal BeaOh, Oalifornia, resolves;
as follows:
WHBKEAS,lthis Oity Oounoi1 on the 16th day of Deoember, 1937,
adopted Resolution 01' Intention No.340, deolaring its intention to
4 ohange the grade of Second, Third, Fourth, PIlfth, S:1xth, Seventh and;
Eighth Streets trom the Southerly line of Ooean Avenue to the Norther-
5 ly line of Seal Way, in the manner mo~e partioular1y desoribed in I
said reao1ution; and,
6 WHEREAS, evidenoe has been received ss to the posting and pub1in-
tion of aaid Resolution of Intention, and of the publication and pOJt-
7 ' ing ofrthe n Notice of Ohange of Grade"more partioularly referred to
thertJln, at the times and in the manner presoribed by law, and no
8 I peraon having filed a written protest with the clerk of the oity co n-
, c11 against such proposed change or modification 01' grade, within I
9 thirty. days after the first publication of the notioe of the passage
o l' said reso1u tion, and the city oouncil having aoquired jU~tSd1C-11
10 I tion to order such work or improvement done;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Oity OouncU of the Oity l'
Seal Beach, that it is hereby found, determined and Ordered;as 1'011 ws
Seotion 1: That in aocordanoe with said resolution 01' intention
heretofore adopted upon the 16th day of December, 1937, the noticea
13 ' of change of grade and of the adoption of said redillution have been
published and posted in the time, manner and form and number 88 re-
14 quired by law, and that no written protests have been tiled in the "
time, form and manner as required by lawt and that this legislative
15 vod:y has now aoquired juriad1ction to ora.er the things propo'sed to
, be done as set forth in said resolution of intention. I
16 Section 2: That the public interest and neoessity require and it I
is hereby ordered that the grade 01' Seoond, Third, Fourth, Birth,
17 S:1xth, Seventh and Eighth Streets trom the Southerly line 01' Ooean I
Avenpe to the Northerly line of Seal Way in said Oity of Seal BeaCh,
18 be changed and mod1t1ed 1n aocordance with the grade or grades 01' I
the aforesaid respeotive streets as shown upon the PDDf11es and
19 Plans therefor prepared by the Oity Engineer and heretofore adopted
by this city council and now on file with the Oity Olerk. I
20 Section 3: That the Oity Olerk shall oertify to the passage of
this resolution by the Oity Oounoil 01' the Oity 01' Seal Beaoh and
21 it shall thereupon take effeot. !
