Meeting called to order by Buel Brown, tet1JDrary chmrman, at 7 35 pm
Members present R Boeger, B Brown, N Wilson
HEARING On question to reoOzone lots 50 to 64 Inclusive, in block 21Z,
Bayview, from RoO 3 to RoOI It was explained to the audience that thug was
the third hearing on this matter, the first two hearing having been negated
through various errors in the mailed notices No protests being in
eVidence, and Mra Hopson and Mrs Perry speaking in behalf of the
change, a motion was made by N Wilson, with second by Boeger, that
Lots 50 through 64, block 212, Bayview be changed from R-3 to RoO}
The motion carried unanimously
A letter was then read pointing out the niusance of unlaodlDg of the P E
trains In a residential area of town Mro Steinman, the writer of the letter,
was present and went further Into the problem created by the unloading The
secretary assured Mrs Steinman that her letter would be referred to the
proper authorities for further action

HEARING The question -I~ of re-zoning the triangle now occupied by
Teeples Nursery and the welding ehilp from the present MoO} to CoOZ
Mr Schrier, of the Tidewater Oil Company, was present and expressed
the view of hiS company that they had no objection to the proposed change
The situation was again e'qUained to the operator of the welding shop who,
while he felt the change was unnecessary, did not make a formal protest
Reasons for the change were further discussed and a motion was then made
by N Wilson that Lots 1 through IS, Stanton 8t Lothians Addition" be changed
from the present M-l to C-Z Brown seconded the motion and the vote was
as follows Aye-Brown, Boeger, Wilson, No-none
HEARING R.equest of Stanley Jfeiddrick for the re-zoning of lot 2Z, block
207, Stan-Lo Add from present RoO 3 to C-Z Attorney Lackman representing
Frank Finch, and Bruce Wildasen, acting as proxy for his brother, owner
of the property adjacent to the lot in que9ting, spoke at length in protest
of the change, reasonIng that the residential property bordering the lot ZZ
would be harmed by the change to C-Z After numerous interchanges of
argument and discussion between Mr Weldrick, Mr Wildasin, Mr Lackman,
and the three members of the commission, the chairman called for a motion
Norman Wilson moved that lot Z2, block 207, Stan-Lo Add be changed from
the present R-3 to C-2 Second by Boeger Vote Aye-Bl"own, Boeger, Wilson,
No-none
A short further discussion was then held, explaining the position of the commission
. on the laet hearing, and the meeting was then closed at 1 IS pm
