A Resolution determining the unpaid assessments
for the work done and improvement made upon
Fifth Street, Sixth Street and portions ot
Seventh Street, Eighth Street and Central
Avenue, and the aggregate amount thereof; that
bonds be issued upon the seourity thereof; pre-
scribing the denomination of said bonds, and
providing for the issuance of the same in annual
series. ~
WHEREAS, a warrant and assessment dated the J...k..:: day of
, 1925, was issued for the work done and improvement
itth Street, Sixth Street and portions of Seventh Street,
Eighth Street and Central Avenue, open public streets in the City
of Seal Beaoh, California, whioh work and improvement is briefly
described ln Resolution ot Intention No. 120 passed on the 6th day
of November, 1924 and. ordered done and made by Resolution No; 126,
passed on the 4th day ot December, 1924, and was done and made by
Griffith Company, a Corporation, under a oontraot awarded to them
on the 22nd day of December, 1924; and,
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of September, 1925, being after
the full expiration of thirty days from the date of the warrant,
and no appeal having been taken as provided by the Improvement Aot
of 1911, and said warrant and assessment being returned and reoorded
by the Street Superintendent of the City of Seal Beaoh and after
said return was recorded the Strest Superintendent made up and filed
with the Clerk ot the City ot Seal Beach, as the Olerk of the Board
of Trustees thereof, a complete list of all unpaid assessments,
and saidClerk thereupon gave notice ot the filing of said list, and
that eight o'olock P. M. of Thursday, the 15th day of October, 1925,
at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City ot Seal
Beaoh was the time therein tixed by her when interested persons

might appear before the City Counoil and show oause why bonds shall

Chamber door of the City of Seal Beaoh on the 18th day of September,
1925, and said notioe remained there posted until the 15th day of
Ootober, 1925, ~nd by publishing said notioe twioe in the Seal Beaoh
Post & Wave, a weekly newspaper publis~ed in the City of Seal Beaoh,
to-wit, on the 24th day of September, 1925 and the 1st. day of
Ootob~r, 1925, the first publioation of whioh was more than five
full days before the time therein fixed for suoh hearlng; and,
WHE~S, the Board of Trustees of the City of Seal
Beaoh was in session and duly oonvened at the time and plaoe in the
sald notioe speoified and provided to hear any objeotions presented,
and no interested or other person appearing to show oause or did
show oause,why bonds should not be issued upon the seourity of the
unpaid assessmen~s, or oejeoted thereto;
IT IS, THEREFORE, NOW, BY THE BOARD. OF TRUSTEES OF
THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
First: The assessments whioh are unpaid for the
work done and improvement m~de upon Fifth Street, Sixth Street and
portions ot Seventh Street, Eighth Street and Oentral Avenue, whioh
work and improvement is briefiy desar ibed ln Resolution of
Intention No. 120, passed on the 6th day of November, 1924, and
ordered done and mad~ by Resolution No. 126, passed on the 4th day
of Deoember, 1924, are as follows:
The aggregate amount of the unpaid assessments
for the work done. and improvement made upon Fitth Street, Sixth
Street and portions of Seventh Street, Eighth Street and Central
Avenue is $20,632.17, and this amount is the aggregate of the
following unpaid assessments numbers shown in red upon the warrant
diagram and assessment, to-wit:

All odd numbered bonds shall be in the denomination
7 of $1000.00 eaoh, and all even numbered bonds shall be in the de-
8 nomination of $375.47 eaoh. except bond numbered 30 whioh ~all be
9 in 'the denomination of $375.59.
10 The form of the bonds shall be substantially as
11 provided by Seotion 6 of the "Improvement Bond Aot of 1915";
12 provided that the same shall contain the appropriate words and figures
13 to make the said. bonds and the form thereof applioable to the
14 denomination. annual series. and pu:r:poses for whioh the bonds are to

payable upon the prinoipal of the bonds to whioh they are attaohed;
all of said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of the City of
Seal Beaoh. but the Treasurer's signatu:r:e may be engraved. printed
or lithographed on the interest ooupons in plaoe of the Treasurer's
signature by hand.
The interest ooupons shall be oonseoutively
numbered from 1 upward on eaoh bond; and the interest thereby re-
presented shall bepaid on the 2nd day of January and July succeeding
the 17th day of September, 1925; provided, that the ooupons
representing the first payment of interest shall beoome due the 2nd
day of January, 1927, being six months before the maturity of the
first annual series of the bonds and shall be for interest aocruing
