The City Council of the City of Seal Beach resolves as 9 Section 1. The public interest and convenience requiring, 10 it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Seal Beach to 11 close up certain portions of the county road, known as Central Avenue 12 lying between the State Highway at the Los Angeles-Orange County line 13 and the \'iesterly line of the alley in Stanton & Lothian's 2nd Addition 14 as per map recorded in Book 4, page 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records 15 of Orange County. State of California, more particularly described as 16 follows: I 17 PARCEL 1. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 1RCEL 2. Z1 I 28 29 30 31 32 A strip of land sixty (60) feet wide, thirty (30) feet on either side of the ~ollowing described center line: Beginning at the westerly end of a curve of radius 561.06 feet described in a deed recorded in Book 174 page 388. of Deeds. records of Orange County. Any person interested objecting to said work 13 or improvement, or to the extent of the district of lands to be affect 14 ed or benefited by said work or improvement, and to be assessed to pay 15 the costs and expenses thereof, shall make written objections to the 16 same. as provided by law, within ten days after the expiration o~ the 17 time of the publication of said notice, which objection shall be de- 18 livered to the Clerk of the City Council, who shall at the next meet- 19 ing of the City Council after the expiration of said ten days lay said 20 objections before said City Council. which saal1 fix a time for hear- 21 ing said objections. not less than one week thereafter. Attention is 22 hereby directed to the provisions of IIstreet Opening Ac~ of 188911 23 relative to objections and protests. Section 4. The Street Superintendent of the City of Seal 25 Beach is hereby ~irected to cause to be conspicuously posted along the 26 line of said contemplated work, or improvements, at not more than thre 27 hundred feet in distance apart but not less than three in all, notices 28 of the passage of this resolution in the form and manner required by law, and also to cause a notice, similar in substance, tobs published 29 four successive insertions. as required by law. in the Seal Beach Post 30 and Wave, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the City of 31 Seal Beach, and hereby designated by said City Council as the news- 32 paper in which such notice shall be published. 24 PAGE 3 L"'W a"Ple.. 0.. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of 2 this resolution by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach. and 3 cause the same to be published once in the Seal Beach Post and Wave 4 and to be posted in three conspicuous places in the City of Seal Beach 5 and it shall thereupon take effect. 6 I hereby ~ertify that the foregoing resolution was adopted 7 by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach, at its meeting of 8 December 4, 1930. by the following vote: ~.
