A RE UTION CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF
THE .., REET SUPERINTENDENT OF 'mE COST
OF THE RElA:OVING OF CERTAIN WEEDS AND
THE ABATEMENT OF THE SlIME AS A NUISANCE
UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN REAL .
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH.
VlHEREAS. the Board Qf Trustees^of the City of Seal Beach. did
on the 19th day of MArch. 1931. by Resolution No. iSl. duly introduce
and adopted, order that Notice be given to destroy weeds within said
city, which said Board by said resolution declared to be a public
nuisance; and.
WHEREAS. the Street Superintendent of said City of Seal Beach
has caused notice to be conspicuously posted in front of each parcel
of real property upon which, or in front of which. such nuisance
existed, as required by said resolution, and'as required by law. at
least_five (5) days prior to the time for hearing of objections to th
t,
abating of such nuisance; and,

\mEREAS. the said Board of TrusteesA on the~2nd day o~ Appil. 193 ,
on motion duly introduced and aaopted, by Resolution No. 182 ordered
the Street Superintendent of said City of Seal Beach' to abate said
nuisance upon the pro~erty, or in front of which. said nuisance exist
ed, there being no person~ present at said hearing having any objecti n
to the abatement of said nuisance; anq,
WHEREAS. the Street Superintendent of said city has caused to be
posted a copy of the attached report on the bulletin.boand"adjacent
to the door of the Council Chamber leading from the main corridor, of
the City Hall of the City of Seal Beach. together with a notice of th
time and place when such report shall be submitted to said Board of
Trustees for confirmation. and within at least three (30 days prior

IT IS IIIpORE. NOW. BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEESAOF THE CITY OF
SEAL BEACH. DETERMINED, RESOLVED AND ORDERED, AS FOLLOWS:
(1) That the report of the Street Superintendent of the City of
Seal Beach be confirmed as presented, and that the cost of abating
such nuisance in front of, or on each separate lot or parcel of 1and.
b, charged ag'.inst the property upon which such nuisance has been
abated for the cost of abating the same. and that said amount be addea
\
to the respective assessments and taxes levied against the said re-
spective lots or parcels of land for municipal purposes and be collect-
,
ed at the same time ,and in the SBme manner as ordinary municipal taxes
are collected. and shall be subject to the same penalties and the same
procedure under foreclosure in case of delinquency. as provided for
ordina~'y municipal taxes.
