OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH, CALIFORNIA, IN CO~~JEMORATION OF THE PASSING AWAY OF JAkES ALBERT GRAHAM, A I.J!:MBER 01" SAID CITY COUNCIL, ON FEBRUARY 6th, 1933. WHEREAS, James Albert Graham, a member of the City Counoil of the City of Seal BeaCh, California, paesed away February 6th., 1933, at 119 Thirteenth Street, Seal Beach; and, WHEREAS, the deceased was at the time of his death the beloved husband of Gertrude L.Graham, is also survived by a brother, Harry v... E.Graham of ~and a cousin, Miss lucy Ogden of ~ng Beach, Californiaj was sixty-five years of age, has been a Past Master of Seal Beach Masonic Lodge No.616, a member of B.P.O.Elks Long Beach No.BBB, Soiots No.4!, Long Beaoh, and direotor of the California State Bank and member of the Chamber of Commeroe of Seal"Beach, and has wel~. served upon three separate oooasions upon the City Counoil of this city; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City Counoil of the City or Seal Beaoh in order to oommemorate the memory of the late James Albert Graham, a faithful public servant, who was appointed rirst t~ the City Counoil of said city on AUBUst Ist,1918, then was eleoted to suoh office again on April lOth,1922 and again re-appoint- ed to fill a vacanoy on the oounoil on May 19th,1932 attending faith- fully its sessions until after January 5th,1933,which was the last meeting at which he was present before his demisej he filled this position upon the governmental board of the oity with honor and dig- nity,giving freely of his t1me,ability,and rendering an invaluable servioe to his city and the entire conmmnity in whioh he lived and was respeoted,both as a public servant of the people and as a oivio worker when not in publio ofricejand, The City Councilor the oity of Seal BeaCh do hereby direot the City Clerk to spread this Resolution upon the Official Reoords of this oity in order that the memory of this beloved'member of this 1. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduoed and passed by the City Council of the Oity of Seal Beach, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of February, 1933, by the following vote of the members thereof.
