WHEREAS, a warrant and assessment.

Ootober, 1922. was issued for the work done and improvement
m~e upon Eleventh Street, an open publio street in the Oity of
seal Beaoh. whioh work and improvement is briefly desoribed in
Jlesolution of Intention No. 62 of said Oity, passed on the 15th
day of Deoember, 1921, and ordered done and made by Resolution
No. e2. passed on the 19th day of January. 1922. and was done
and made by Fairohild-Gilmore -Wilton 00.. under a oontraot
awarded to them on the 9th day of )laroh. 1922; and
Whereas. on the 15th day of November. 1922. being after
the full expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of the
warrant. and no appeal having been taken as prodded by the im-
provement Act of 1911. and said warrant and assessment being
returned and reoorded by the Street Superintendent of the 01 iF
of 8eal Beach, and after said return was reoorded, the Street
Superintendent made up and filed with the Olerk of the Oity 0 f
Seal Beaa h. as the Olerk of the Board of Trustees 1bereof. a
oomplete list of all unpaid assessments. and said Clerk thereupon
gave notioe of the fili!1lt of said list. and that e1p;ht o'clock
of 'rhursday. the 7th day of Deoember. 1922. at the Oouncil
chamber of the Board of !rustees of the Oity of 8eal Beaoh was
the time thhrein fixed by him when interested persona might
appear before the Oity Oouncil and _hOW Cause why bands shall not
be issued upon the securi ty of the unpaid assessments ..hewn on

the all:gregate principal thereof is paid. Said bonds and eaoh 0
them shall bear interest at the rate of seven per cent (7~)
per annum from the 16th day of November, 1922, the date of the
filing With the Clerk of the City of Seal Beaoh of the street

shall be paid semi-annually 17f ccupons, on the 2nd day of Jan-
uary and. JUly, respectively, of eaoh year at ter the date of the
bonds, provided that thefirst payment of interest shall not be-
come due until the 2nd day of January, 1924, being siz months
before the maturity of the first armual series of the bonds.
!he bonds and interest shall be paid at the office of the

Treasurer of the City of Seal Beaoh, in eaid City, County of
Orange, State of california, on the presentati on of the propEll'
ocupons and bonds, out of the redemption fund, and under no
ciroumstanoes shall said bonds, or interest thereon, be paid out
of any other fund.
A redemption fund shall be kept by the Treasurer of the
City of Seal Beaoh des!lnated Elevent~ Street Improvement Bond
Redemption Fund in whioh the Treasurer ~hall place all sums
received from the co11eations of assessments made for the paymen
of the cost of the work and improvement upon which the bonds
are issued, and the interest and penaliies thereon. All of
the bonds shall be dated the 7th day of Deoember, 1922, and
shall be numbered conseou ti vely from one (1) to aixteen (1<6)
both inclusive. Bonds numbered from One (1) to F1.fteen (15)
ino1usive shall be in the denomination of Five Hundred Dollars
(8500.00) each and bond numbered sizteen shall be in the denom-
ination of Biz Hundred Thirty-five and Seventy-nine Hundredtlle
Dollars ($635.79).

The form of the bond shall be substantially a8 provJded
by Section 6 of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, provided ~hat
the same shall conkin the appropriate words and f1~es to make
the said. bond and. the form thereof applioable to the denomination
annual 8eries, and purposes for which the bonds are to be illlsued
as herein set forth. The bonds shall be siAAed. by the Treasurer
and Clerk of the City of Seal Beach,
There shall be attached to eanh bond, interest coupons
representin~ the payments of sem1-annual interest, and made 1
payable upon the principal of the bonds to which they are attaoh-
ed.. All of said bonds shall be si~ned by the Treasurer of the
City of Seal Beach, but the Treasurer's eilmature may be
ensraved, printed or l1thosraphed on the interest coupcns in
place of the Treasurer's silmature by hand.
'Ehe intereet coupons shall be consecutively numbered
from one (1) upward on each bond, and the interestthereby rep-
resented shall be paid on ,the 2nd day of January and. July,
succeeding the 15th day of November, 1922, provided. that the
coupons representin~ the first payment of interest shall become
d.ue the 2nd. day of January, 1924; be1n~ six months before the
maturity of the first annual series of the bonds, and. shall be
for the interest acoruiDA: thereon from the 15th day of November,
1922, to said date.
