8 WHEREAS, a warrant and assessment dated the 21st day
9 of November, 1922, was issued for the work done and improvement
10 made upon Dolphin Avenue, an open, pu b1.ic street in the Oi ty of
11 Seal 'Fleach, which work and improvement is briefly desoribed in
12 Resolution of Intention No. 56 of said City, passed on the

15th day of Deoember, 1921, and ordered done and made by Resolu-
tion No. 66, passed on the 19th day of January, 1922, and was
done and made by Fairohild-Gilmore-Wilton Co., ~nder a oontraot

awarded to them on the 9th day of Maroh, 1922; and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of Deoember, 1922, being after
full
the/expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of the warrant
,
and no appeal having been taken, as provided by the Improvement
Act of 1911, and said warrant a.nd assessment being returned and
reoorded by the Street Superintendent of the Oity of Seal Be&: h,
and after said return was reoorded, the Street Superintendent
made up and filed \14. th the Olerk of the Oity of Seal Beaoh as
the Clerk of the Board of Trustees thereof, a oomplete list of
all unpaid assessments and said Clerk thereupon gave notioe of
the filing of said list, and that eight o'olook of Thursday,
the 1st day of February, 1925, at the Counoil Ohamber of the
Board of Trustees of the City of 8eal Beaoh was the time therein
fixed by him when interested persons might appear before the Ci~
oounoil and show cause why bonds shall not be iSFlued upon the

and by publishing said Notioe twioe in the Seal Beaoh Poet and
Wave, a newspaper published in the Oity of Seal Beaoh, to-wit:
On the 11th and 18th days of January, 1925, the first publioation
of whioh was more than five full days. before the time therein
fixed for such hearing; and further, by mailing said Notioe, post
age prepaid, to the owner of eaoh lot listed, aooording to the
name and address appearing on the last equalized assessment roll
for Oity taxes of the City of Baal Beaoh, prior thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Oity of 8eal
Beaoh wae in session and duly oonvened at the time and plaoe in
the said Notioe speoified and provided, to hear any objeotions
presented, and no interested or other personappelU'ing to shOW
,oause or did show oause why bonds shall not beiseued upon the

And this BOard ha~ng heretofore ordered that the last instal-
ment of said bondS shall mature fourteen (14) yeare from the
2nd clay of July next succeeding nine monthe from their date.
Seoond. BondS shall be issued upon the eeourity of
the unpaid assessments shown 03 the liet thereof, as herein above
determined, for the aggregate prinoipal of the Bum of ~paid
a811esemente, to-wit: '2,806.48, and shall be payable in fifteen
(15)annual s'eriee ,on the 2nd day of July of eaoh year, next
succeeding nine months after their date, until the whole e\lln of
the aggregate principal thereof is paid. Said bonds and each of
them shall bear interest at the rate of seven per oent (?%) per
ann\lln from the 22nd day of Dectmber, 1922, the date of the fili~
with the Clerk of the Oity of Real Beach, of the street Superin-
tendent's list of unpaid assessments, until the whole Sulll of the
principal and the interest is paid. The interest shall be paid
semi-annually by coupons, on ~he 2nd day of January and July
retJpect1vely, of each year, after the'date of the bonds, pro-
vided that the first payment of interest shall not become due

maturity of the first annual series of the bonds.
-t The bondS and interest shall be paid at the office of
the Treasurer of the Oi ty of Seal Beach, in so.id Oi ty, Oounty of
Orange, State of california, on the presentation of theproper
ooupons and bonde, out of the redemption fund, and under no oir-
oumstances shall said bondS ar interest thereon be paid aut of
any otl).er fund.
A redemption fwd shall be kept by the Treasurer of th
City of Seal Beaoh designated "Dolphin Avenue Improvement Bond
,
!ledemption Fund", in which the Treasurer shall place all S1mlS
received from the collection of assessments made for the payment
of the cost of the wark and improvement upon which the bondS
are issued, and the interest and penalties thereon. All of
said bondS shall be dated the 1st day of February, 1923, and
shall be numbered consecutively from one (1) to thirty (30)
inClusive.
Each odd numbered bond shall be :In the denomination
of 0100.00 each, and ea:: h even n1Jll1bered bond shall be in the
denomination of .87.09 13/16 each.
The farm of the bonciJ shall be substantially as pro-
Vided by Section 6 of the Improvement Fond Act of 1916, pro-
Vided that the same shall conta:ln the appropr:late worde and
figures to I!lake the said bonds and the:lbm thereof app+icable
to the denomination, ann~l Ber1es, and purposes for which the
bonds are to be issued, as herein set forth. The bonds shall be
signed by the treasurer and Olerk of the City of Seal Beach.
There shall be attached to eaoh bond, interest ooupons
representing the payments of sem:l-annual interest, and made pay-
able upon the principal of the bonds to which they are att-ached.
All of said bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of the City
of Seal Beaoh, but the Treasurer's signature may beengraved,

the 22nd day If Deoember, 1922, and theS11'plu8 of such proceeds,
if any, shall beoredited to said Redemption Fund for the payment
of such bonds.
If no satisflitl tory bids are received, or the Board of
'J'rustees determine that the bids received are not satisfaotory
as to the prioe or responsibility of the bidder, the Board of
Tratees reserves the right to rejeot all bids reoeived, if any,
and re-advertise the bonds for sale, or deliver said bonds tothe
oontractor aforesaid, in satisfaction of the sum due them upon
the assessment and warrant.
