City of Seal Beach declaring their inten-
tion to order the closing up of certain al-
leys in Block 211 of the Bay View Tract in
the Oity of 8ea1 Beach. Oalifornia. !

Sectionl; That Whereas. the publio interest and convEI1
9 i600e require the closing up of certain alleys. as hereinafter
10 deecribed. in the City of 8eal Beach, it is theintention of
11 the Board of Trustees of the City of 8eal Beach to order the
III following alleys in said City to be closed up, to-wit:

A oertan fifteen foot alley running easterly and wes-
terly through.B1ock all-of the Bay View Traot. the
ex{erior boundaries of said alley being Lots 45 and 46
on the Soo th, and Lota 47 and 48 on the NOrth. all in
said Block 211 of the Bay View Traot.
Also that portion of that certain alley running north-
erly and southerly through Block 211 of the Bay View
Tract and extending from the N~therly boundaries of
Lots 45 and 46 to the southerly boundaries of Lotsl9
and 40, the exterior boundaries of said alley being
59. 41, 40, 42,
Lots/45 and 45 on the East, and Lat 8/44 and 46 on the
West. all in Blook 211 of the Bay View Tract.
8ection 2: That ThurSday, the 19th day of April, 1923,
at the hour of eight o'clock P.M. of said day, is the day and ho

8ection 5: Thatthe proceedings for the closing up of
the aforesaid alleys shall be had and taken under and in accor-
dance with an. Act of the Legislature of the 8ta te of OQlifornia
T designated and ~own as nAn Aot to provide for laying out. oPliln-
ing, extending, widening. straightening. or closing up in whole
or in part of any street. square. lane. all'ey, court, or place.
within municipalities, and tQbondemn and acquire any and all Ian
'and property neoessary or convenient for that. purpos ell approved
Kar~h6. 1889. and amendments thereto.
8eotion 4: The street Superintendltm1t shall oause to be
conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work
of improvement at not more than 500 feet in distanoe apart. but
not less than three in all, n;tices of the passage of this Reso-

lution, in the for.m and manner asrequired by law; and he shall
also cause a notice. similar in substance. to be published four
successive inseitions in the Seal Beach Post and Wave. a weekly
newspaper published and'oirOulated in the Oity of Seal Beach.
Oalifornia, and hereby designated for that purpose by the
Board of Trustees, there being no daily newspaper pub~shed
in said Oity.
