'.ehat it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the Oity of seal Beaoh to ordsr the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said oity, to-wit: 9 1st, 10 11 That HAlNsmEET 12 13 from the northeasterly line of Ooean Avenue to the southwesterly line of E1ect~io Avenues OCEAN AVENUE 14 between the southwesterly prolongations of the side lines of ltain Street, from the northeasterly line of Ocean Avenu,e to a 15 lme parallel with an 67 feet southwesterly therefrom; and , 16 OENTRAL AVENUE 17 18 19 20 21 from the northwesterly line of Main Itreet to a line parallel with and 3.13 feet northwesterly therefrom, inoluding all inte1'- sections of streetB and alleys be graded and paved with a oement concrete pavement 6 inches thiok, excepting suoh portions of said str~tB as are already pavod with a cement ooncrete pave- ment, and excepting suoh portions of said streets within a strip of land 9.0 feet wide, lying 4.6 feet each side of the fcllowing described center line: Beginning at a pcint on the northeasterly line of Ooean 22 Avenue, distant thereon 45.14 feet northwestorly from the north- westerly line of Main Street, said point of beginning 'being on a 23 ourve concave to the north and having a radius of 256.5, feet, a radial line through said point of beginning having a bearing of 24 N 8 degrees 42' 48' WJ thenoe narthaasterly along said curve 19.0 feet tc the beginning of a ourve conoave to the northwest and 25 having a radius of 235 feet; thence northeasterly along said last mentioned curve 187.68 feet to the end of sameJ thence II 31 26 degrees 17' E 624.69 feet along the center line of Main street to the beginning of a curve ooncaVe to the southeast and having 27 a radius of 298.64 feet! thence northeasterly along said last 28 mentioned curve 156.33 feet to the beginning of a curve conc~ve to the southeast and having a radius of 250, f~:t; tlleBC6" north- easterly along said last mention-ed ourve 136~6 to a point on the 29 southwesterly line of Eleotric Avenue 100.62 feet southeasterly 30 from the southeasterly line of Main Street. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the 23 ofUcial grade and in acoordanoe with plans and profiles number- ed 1.-3-3'1 and 1.-3-38, on file in the office of the Oi ty Engineer, 24 and in further nocordanoe with 'Speoifications NO.4, for tho Con- struction of Pavements, CUrbs, Sidewalks and Guttors in the City 25 of Seal Beach', on file in the office of the Oity Clerk, except I as otherR1se hereinbefore provided. &aid plans, p:rofileB and 28 speCifications are horeby referr.ed to for a more particular des- cription of said work and are made a part hereof. 27 I Section 3. It is hereby determined and noUce is he:re by given I hat ser1al bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and bearing il1terest at tho rato of seven per oent per annum, shall be issued hereunder in the mannor provided by the 'Improvemont Bond Act of 1915', the last inlJtallmen1: of nhioh bonds shall mature fourteen years from the seoond day cf July next succeeding nine monthe from their date. 10 ~e-4-/ Seotion 5. That Tbursday, the ~h day of Ooto~9r, 1921, at the hour of 8 o'olook P.ll. of said day, is the day and hour, and the Oounoil Ohamber in the Oity Hall of the City of Seal Beaoh is the place, fixed by the Board of Trustees when and where any and all persons having lUly objectiono to tho proposed work or improvements may appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why said propossd iJJpro.vsmont ohould not be carried out in acoordanoe with this resolution. Seotion 6. That the proceedings for the aforesaid improvement 8118.11 be had and taken under and in accotdanoe with an aot of the Legislature of the State of California designated and lcno\'IJ1 as the 'Improvement Act of 1911' approvad April 7, 1911, and amendments thereto, except as hereinbefore noted. Seotion 7. The Superintendent of Streets shall caus.'to be consp1ouously posted ll.l0ll8 the line of said contemplated \lork of improvement and along all ths open streots within the distriot liable to be aases:sed, notice of the passage of this ordinance in the manner and in the form required by law. Seotion 8 The City Clerk shall certify to the pacsage of eas resotution and shall cause the same to be published twice in the Senl Beach Post; a weekly nowspaper published and cirou- lated in the Oi ty of selll :Reach and hereby dos18nated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees, there being no daily n9'\7opaper published in oa1d Oity. ----.....
