A Resolution of theBoard of Trustses of the Oity of Seal
3 Beaoh, deolaring their intention to order the improvement of
Tenth Street from Ooean Avenue to Eleotrio Avenue in the City at

RESOLVED:
Seotion 1. That it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of
the City of seal Beach to order the following work to be done and
improvements to be made in said oity, to-wit:

That the roadway of

TENTH STREET
from the northeasterly line of Ooean Avenue to the southwesterly
line of Eleotric Avenue, inoluding all interseotions of streets
and alloys be graded and paved with a bituminous base and aspha~t
concrete wearin~ surfaoe.
13 2nd. That a cement curb be constructed along the north-
weeterly and southeaeterly ourb lines of Tenth Street at the.
14 looati ons shown on the plana therefor. '
115 Seotion 2. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the
offioial grade and in accordanoe with plan and profile numbered
"18 ,A.:.'3-46, on file in the offioe of the City Engineer, and in :fur-
ther accordance with .Speoifications No. 4 for the Construction
17 of Pavements, CUrbs, Sidewalks and Gutters in the City of seal
Beaoh', on f11e in the office of the City Clerk. Said plan and
18 prOfile and specifioations are hereby referred to for a more par-
tioula: description of said work and are made a pa:t hereof.

section 3. And whereas said contemplated work and improvement
20 is in the opinion of said Board of Trustees, of more than local
or ordinary publio benefit, said Board hereby makes thl! costs
21 and expenses of said work or improvements ohargeablo upon a dis-
trict, which district said Board hereby deolares to be the dis-
22 trict benefited by said work and improvements, and to be assessed
to pay the costs and 'expenses thereof; which district is bounded
23 and desoribed as follows:
24 All .that portion of the City of Seal Beach included witb-
in the following desoribed exterior boundary line, to-wit:

Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 27, BlocklD9
.28 Bay City, a subdivision, as shown on a map recorded in Miscellan-
eous Map Fook No.3, page 19, Records of orange CQ1nty; thence
27 southeasterly in a direct line to the most eastarly corner of
28 Lot 24, Blook 110, said subdivision; thence southweeterly in a
direot line to the most southerly corner of Lot 12, Block 10, said
29 subdivision; thence westerly in a direot line to the most &aster1v
corner of Lot 1, said last mentioned block; thence southwesterly
in a direot line to the most southerly corner of said last men-
30 tioned Lot; thence northwesterly in a direct line to the most west
31 orly corner of Lot 10, Flock 9, said subdivision; thence north-
easterly in a direct line to the most northerly corner of said
last mentioned lot; thence northwesterly in a direct line to t:tl8

interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum. shall be issued

19l5n, the last installment of which bondS shall mature fcurteon

and all persons having any objecti on. to the proposed work or im-
provements may appear before the llurd of Trustees and show ca.use
why. said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accord-
ance with this rosolution.

Section 6. That the proceedings for the aforesaid improvement
ehall be had and taken under and in accordance with an act of
the Legislature of the state of California designated and known
as the "Improvement Act of 19118 approved April 7. 1911. and amend
ments thereto. except as hereinbsfore noted.

Section 7. The Superintendent of i!treets shall cause to be con-
spicuously posted along the line of said. contemplated work of im-
provement and along all the open streets within the district liabl
17 to be assessed. notice of the passage of this Resolution in the
manner and in the form required by law.

Section 8. .The Oity Olerk shall certifY to the passage of this
19 resolution and shall causo the same to be published twice in the
8eal Beaoh Post, a weekly nswspaper published and circulated in
the City of Seal Beach and hereby designated for that purposo
20 by the Board of Trustees, there being no daily newspaper published
a1 in said City.
22 1 hereby certifY that the foregoing Resolution of Intontio
was cilly and regularly introduoed and adopted by the !loard of
23 Trustees of the City of Seal B~ at a.....regular meeting of said
