A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of
seal Beach, declaring their intention to order the improvement of
Twelfth Street, from Ocean Avenue to Electric Avenue in the City
of seal Beach.
RESOLVED:
SOction 1. That it is the intention of theBoard of Trustees of
the City of Seal Beach to order the following work to be done ani
:improvements to be made in said city, to-wit:
That the roadway of
TWELFTH STREET

from the northeasterly lino of Ocean Avenue to the southwesterly
line of Electric Avenue, including all intersections of streets
and alleys, bs graded and paved with a cement concrete base and
13 ,aephalt concrete wearing surface.

Section 2. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the
official grade and in accordance with plan and profile numbered
A-3-49, on file in the office of the City Engineer, and in fUrther
accordance with "Specifications NO. 4 for tho Construction of
Favemente, CUrbs, Sidewalks and Gutters in the'City-of-~eal-Beachn
on file in the office of the City Clerk. Said plan and profile
and specifications are hereby referred to for a more particular
description of said work and are made a part hereof.

Section 3. And whereas said contemplated work and improvement
is, in the opinion of said Board of Trustees, of more than local
or ordinary public benefit, said Board hereby makes the costs
and expenses of said work or improvements chargeable upon a dis-
trict, which district said Foard hereby declares to be the distr!c
21 benefited by said work and improvements, and to be assessed to pay
the costs and expenses thersof; which district is bounded and de-

All that portion of the City of Seal Beach included with-
in the following described exterior 00 undary line, to-v.i t:

Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 13, Block 111
25 Bay City, a subdivision, as shown on map recorded in NiscellaneoUB
Map Book No.3, page 19, Records of Orange Oounty; thence south-
28 easterly in a direct line to the most easterly corner of Lot 62,
Block 12, said subdivision; thence southwesterly in a direct line
27 to the most southerly corner of Lot 12, said last mentioned block;
thence westerly in a direct line to the most easterly corner of
28 Lot 1, said last mentioned block; thence southwesterly in a direct
line to the most southerly corner of said last mentioned lot;
thence northwesterly in a direct line to the most westerly corner
of Lot 10, Block.ll, said subdivision; thence northeasterly in a
30 direct line to the'most northerly corner of said last mentioned
lot; thence northwesterly in a direct line to the most westerly
31 corner of Lot ll, said last ~~ntioned block; thence northeasterly
in a direct line to the point of beginning, all as shown on map
3a No. A-3-63 approved by the Board of Trustees on the 3rd day of
November, 1921, and on file in the office of the City Clerk, to
which said map reference is hereb,r n~de for a more complete and

detailed description of said district, excepting' from said dis-
trict any portion of any street or alley which ~ay be included '
therein.
Section 4. It is hereby determined and notice ~s .hereby given I
that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and bearing ,
interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum shall be issued"
hereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond' Act of
1916", the last installment of which bonds shall mature fourteen
years from the secon~ ay of July next succeeding nine months

where any and ,all persons having any objections to the proposed
work or improvoments may appear before the lloud of Trustees and
show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried
out in accordance with this resolution.
Section 6. That the proceedings for the aforesaid improvement
shall be had and taken under and in accordance with an act of the
Legislature of the State of california designated and known as
the "Improvement Act of 1911" approved April 7, 1911, and amend-
ments thereto, except as hereinbefore noted.
section 7. The Superintendent of Streets shall cause to be con-
spicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work of
improvement and along all the open streets within the district
liable to be assessed, notice of the passage of this Resolution
in the manner and in the form mquired by. law. ,_
Section 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution and shall cause the same to be pUblished twice in the
Seal Beach Post, a weekly newspaper pnblished and circulated in
the City of Seal Beach and hereby designated for that purpose by
the Board of Trustees, there being no daily newspaper publiehed
in said City.
