A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Oity of
Seal Beach, declaring their intention to order the improvement of
Thirteenth Street, from Ocean Avonue to Electric Avenue in the
City of 8eal Beach.
RESOLVED:

7 sectionll. That it is the' intention of the Board 'of Trustees of
the City of Seal Beach to order the following work to be done
8 and improvements to be made in said Oity, to-wit:

That the roadway of
THIRTEENTH STREET
from the northeasterly line of Ocean Avenue to the southwesterly
12 line of Electric Avenue, including all intersections of streets
13 and alleys, be graded and paved with a cement concrete base and
asphalt concrete wearing surface.
14 Section 2. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the
15 off1cia~ grade and in accordance with plan and, profile numbered
A-3-50, on file in the office of the City Engineer, and in fur-
ther accordance with nSpecifications No.4 for-the Const~ction
of Pavements, CUrbs, Sidewalks and gutters in the City of Seal
Beachft, on file in ~he office of the Oity Olerk. Said plan and
17 profile and specifications are hereby referred to for a more par-
ticular description of said work and are made a part hereof.

Section 3. !nd whereas said contemplated work and improvement is,
19 in the opinion of said Board of Trustees, of more than 100al or
ordinary publio benefit, sa!d Board hereby makes the oosts and
20 expenses of said. wO%k or improvements charbeable upon a district,
21 which district Said Board hereby declares to be th~ district bene-
fited by said work and improvements, and to be assessed to pay
22 the costs and expenses thereof; which district is bounded and
described as follows:

All that portion of the City of seal Beach included with-
24 in the following described exterior boundary line, to-wit:
Beginning at the most easterly ~orner of Lot 66 Block 13,
215 Bay City, a subdivision, as shown on Map recorded in ~iscellaneoUB -.
Map Book No.3, page 19, Records of orange County; thence south-
26 westerly in a direct line to the most southerly corner of Lot 12,
27 said block; thence westerly in a direct line to the most easterly
corner of Lot 1, said block; thence southwesterly in a direct line
28 to the most southerly corner of said last mentioned Lot; thenoe
northwesterly in a direct line to the most westerly corner of Lot
29 10 Block 12 said subdivisionj thence northeasterly in a direct
line to the most northerly corner of said last mentioned loti
30 thence northwesterly in a direct line to the most westerly corner
of Lot 11, said last mentioned blocki thence northeasterly in a
31 direct line to the most northerly corner of Lot 69, said lait men-
tioned block; thence southeasterly in a direct line to the point

section 4. It is hereby determined and notice is hereby given
5 that serial bonds to represent unpaid aseesaments, and bearing
.interest at the rate of seven per oent per annum, shall be issued.

7 19158, the last installment of whioh bonds shall mature fourteen
years from the second. day of July, next sucoeeding nine months

Section 6. That the proceedi~ 8: far the aforesaid improvemBIlt
slla11 be had and taken under and in accordance with an act of the
Legislature of the state of California, designated and known as
the "Improvement Act of 19118 approved 'Apr:l.l 7, 1911, and amend-
ments thereto, except as hereinbefore noted.
8eot10n 7. The Superintendent of streets shall cause to be con-
spicuously posted along the lins of said contemplated work of
improvement and along all the open streets w:l.th1n the distriot
liable to be assessed, notice of the passage of this resolut:l.on
in the manner and in the form required by law.
Section 8. 'rhe City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution and shall cause the'same to bo published twice in the
S9al Beach Post, a weekly newspaper published, and circulated :l.n
the City of Seal !leach and hereby designated for that purpose by
the Board of Trustees, there be:Lng no daily neWspaper published
in said Ci ty .
