RESOLTUION NO. ~
A ResoltU1on of the Board of TIUstees of the City of
Seal Beach, declaring their int ention to order the improvement
of Dolphin Avenue, from Ocean Avolll1e to Electric Avolll1e in the
City of Soal Beaoh.
RESOLVED:
Section 1. That it is the :in tent10n of the Board. of T1"\1shes
of theCity of Seal Beach to order the following work to be done
and improvements to be made in 8aid City, to-wit:
1st
That the roadway of
DOLPHIN AVENUE
from the northeasterly line of Ocean Avelll1e to the southwesterly
line of Electric Avelll1e, including all interseotions of streets
and alley,S, be graded and paved with a oement concrete base
and asphalt concrote wearing surfaoe.

section 2. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the
official grade And in accordance with plan and profile numbered
A-3-62, on file in the office of the City Engineer, and in furtbr
aocordanoe with "Specifioations No. -4 for the-Censtruction of c
Pavements, CUrbs, Sidewalks and Gutters in the City ofSeo.l Beac1f' ,
on file in the offioe of the City Clerk. Said plan and profile
and spe61fioations are hereby referred to for a more particular

section 3. And whereas s~d contemplated work and hprovement
is, in the opinion of said Board of Trustees, of more than local
or ordinary public benefit, saidBoard hereby makes the costs and
expenses of said work or improvements chargeable upon a district,
21 which district said Board hereby declares to be the district bene-
fited by said work and i1llProv8ments, and to be assesSed to pay
22 the oosts and expenses thereof; which district is bounded and de-
scribed as follows:

All that portion of the City of seal Beach inolUded with-
in the follOWing described exterior boundary line, to-wit:
6 Beginning at the most easterly corner of Lot 1, Block B,
2 Tract No.1, as shown on map recorded in Miscellaneous Ma~Book
No.9, page 1, Records of orange County; thenoe southwesterly in
28 a direct line to the intersection of the southwesterly prolonga-
27 t10n of the sOl1theasterly lins of said lot with the southerly
line of Marine Avenue; thence westerly in a direct line to the
28 northeast corner of Lot I, Block 0, said tract; thence southerly
in a direct line to the southeast corner of said last mentioned

Lot 39, said last mentioned block; thence southerly in a direct
30 line to the southeast c orner of said last mentioned lot; thence

line to the most westerly corner of Lot 18, Block A, said tract;
39 thence northeasterly in a direct line to the most northerly corner

to the most westerly corner of Lot 17, said last menU onsd block;
thence northeasterly in a direct line to the most northerly cor-
ner of Lot 1, said last mentioned block) thence southeasterly in
a direct line to the point of beginning all as shown upon Map
No. A-3-56 approved by the Board of Trustees on the 3rd day of
November, 1921, and on file in the offioe of the City Clerk, to
whioh said map referenoe is hereby made for a more complete and
detailed desoription of said district excepting from said d1stric
any portion of any stroet or alley which may be included therein.
Seotion 4. It is hereby determined and notioe is hereby given
that seria.l bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and.' bearing
interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, shall be issued
hereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond Act of
1915", the last installment of which boads shall mature fourteen
years from. the second day of July next succeeding nine months

hour, and the Oouncil Chamber in the City Hall of Ithe Oi ty of
Seal Beaoh is the plaoe, fixed by the Board of Trustees when and
where any and all persons having any objeotions to the proposed
work or improvements may appear before the Boa.rd of Trustees and
show oause why said proposed improvements should not be oarried
out in aooordanoe with this resolution.

Section 6. That the procoedings for the aforesaid inprovement
shall be had and taken under and in accordance wi th an act of
the Legislature of the State of California designated and known
as the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved A?ril 7, 1911, and
amendments thereto, excepting as hereinbefore noted.
Section 7. The Superintendent of streets shall cause to be con-
spicuOUSly posted along the line of said contemplated work of im.
provement and along all the open streets within the distriot li~
ble to be assessed, notice of the passage of this resolution in
the manner and in the form required by law.
Section 8. The City Clerk shall oertify to the passage of this
resolution and shall oause the same to be published twice in the
Seal Beach Post, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in
the City of Seal Beaoh, and hereby designated for that purpose
by the Board of Trustees, there being no daily newspaper publish-
ed in said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution of Inten-
tion was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Board
of Trustees of the C1 ty of l!!al Beach at~ regular mpet1ng of
