RESOLTUION NO. ~ A ResoltU1on of the Board of TIUstees of the City of Seal Beach, declaring their int ention to order the improvement of Dolphin Avenue, from Ocean Avolll1e to Electric Avolll1e in the City of Soal Beaoh. RESOLVED: Section 1. That it is the :in tent10n of the Board. of T1"\1shes of theCity of Seal Beach to order the following work to be done and improvements to be made in 8aid City, to-wit: 1st That the roadway of DOLPHIN AVENUE from the northeasterly line of Ocean Avelll1e to the southwesterly line of Electric Avelll1e, including all interseotions of streets and alley,S, be graded and paved with a oement concrete base and asphalt concrote wearing surfaoe. 14 section 2. That all the aforesaid work shall be done to the official grade And in accordance with plan and profile numbered A-3-62, on file in the office of the City Engineer, and in furtbr aocordanoe with "Specifioations No. -4 for the-Censtruction of c Pavements, CUrbs, Sidewalks and Gutters in the City ofSeo.l Beac1f' , on file in the offioe of the City Clerk. Said plan and profile and spe61fioations are hereby referred to for a more particular 18 description of said Work and are made a part hereof. 15 18 17 section 3. Seotion 4. It is hereby determined and notioe is hereby given that seria.l bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and.' bearing interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, shall be issued hereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", the last installment of which boads shall mature fourteen years from. the second day of July next succeeding nine months 8' from their date. ~. /t:.-I;l a Seotion 5. That the procoedings for the aforesaid inprovement shall be had and taken under and in accordance wi th an act of the Legislature of the State of California designated and known as the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved A?ril 7, 1911, and amendments thereto, excepting as hereinbefore noted. Section 7. The Superintendent of streets shall cause to be con- spicuOUSly posted along the line of said contemplated work of im. provement and along all the open streets within the distriot li~ ble to be assessed, notice of the passage of this resolution in the manner and in the form required by law. Section 8. The City Clerk shall oertify to the passage of this resolution and shall oause the same to be published twice in the Seal Beach Post, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the City of Seal Beaoh, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees, there being no daily newspaper publish- ed in said City.
