RESOLUTION NUMBER 5713
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEAL
BEACH REVISING RESOLUTION 5569 BY ESTABLISHING A
NEW DOCUMENT CHARGE FOR THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Council is empowered to impose reasonable fees, rates,
and charges for municipal services and adopted Resolution Number 5569 on I
June 5, 2007 which established fees and charges for goods, services and
facilities provided by the City to cover the costs reasonably borne or a substantial
portion of the actual costs of the goods and services provided by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a new Title 11, Zoning of the Municipal
Code, consisting of a comprehensive and complete revision of the Zoning Code
of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the charge for copies of the
complete Zoning Ordinance does not cover the actual costs under the current fee
schedules;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Seal
Beach hereby establishes the document cost of the Zoning Ordinance:
Complete, at $75.00 and revises Section 1; Administration, Sub-section A;
Documents, of Resolution Number 5569 to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. ADMINISTRATIVE FEES

The following fees are established to reimburse the City for costs relative
to filling public requests for copies of non-confidential records; codes,
brochures, booklets and patent materials not marked for general
distribution.

Photocopies of individual pages of Ordinances, Resolutions, Contracts,
Agreements, and any of the documents listed in this section and any other
documents, publications and reports not listed.

Postage: All mail requests shall have the cost of postage added to the
fees set forth, with the exception of copies of minutes and agendas."
This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption except for any agreements,
contracts, plans and specifications submitted to the City prior to the date of
adoption.
