The meet~ng was called to order by V~ce Cha~rman R~pperdan at 7 30 p m and the Pledge to the Flag was led by Mr. Cook Present Excused Absence R~pperdan, Knapp, Cook, Schm~tt Lann~ng The m~nutes of March 19, 1975 were approved as presented. Secretary rev~ewed the method for rece~v~ng publ~c test~mony at meet~ngs 1 Publ~c Hear~ngs A. Joyce P RauschenbaCh, V-3-75 The appl~cant ~s request~ng a lot spl~t so that two new lots of 375ft x 117 5 ft can be created and the estate can be settled Publ~c hear~ng opened Ms Joyce Rauschenbach, from 24362 V~a Santa Clara, ~n M~ss~on V~eJo answered the quest~ons d~rected to her by the Comm~ss~on Mr. Neprud clar~f~ed the Comm~ss~on on a po~nt wh~ch had to do w~th enchroachment. Publ~c hear~ng 810sed Mr Knapp moved approval of V-3-75 w~th requ~red 3~9" setbacks Mr R~pperdan seconded the mot~on and ~t was approved unan- ~mously by members present Resolut~on No. 898 B. Mark Att~e (J. Perttula), CP-3-75 Request for Use Perm~t for structural add~t~ons to nonconform~ng tr~plex Publ~c hear~ng opened. Mr. J Perttula,from 1401-B Seal Way was speak~ng on behalf of Mr and Mrs Att~e. Mr Knapp asked why add~t~onal park~ng was not planned ~nstead of storage rooms Mr. Perttula expla~ned the reconstruct~on necessary for garages was not feas~ble The Comm~ss~on d~scussed demol~sh~ng the ex~st~ng wail for garage room and uncovered park~ng but also found these ~deas not plaus~ble. A res~dentLfrgm 1405,Seal Way felt any ~mprovement would be benef~c~al to the ne~ghborhood. Publ~c hear~ng closed The Comm~ss~on d~scussed appl~cat~on of these add~t~ons to the Use Perm~t, and whether ~t was appropr~ate Mr Schm~tt moved approval of the add~t~ons form CP-3-75 after rev~sal of storage and laundry ro~m for park~ng and relocat~on of storage and laundry room and staff conaltlons Seconded by Mr Rlpperdan A~s Noes Absta~n Absent Schm~tt, R~pperdan, Knap~ Cook None Lann~ng Resolut~on No 899 2 Oral Commun~cat~on Jean Dorr from 231 6th St asked who she should d~rect her problems to about b~cycle safety lanes and covered bus stops Mr Neprud referred her to Ha11Halld~n, D~rector of Publ~c Works . . . e e Mr Jack Sm~th, from 1405 Seal Way po~nted out the problems at the ~nter- sect~on of Seal Beach Blvd and Pac~f~c Coast H~ghway 3 Wr~tten Commun~cat~on There was no wr~tten commun~cat~on 4 Unf~n~shed Bus~ness A Referral from C~ty Counc~l of Plann~ng Comm~ss~on recommendat~ons of Roof Mounted Greenhouses. The Comm~ss~on congratulated the staff on a Job well done Mr Knapp moved to forward the referral by the C~ty Counc~l wh~ch would apply to all res~dent~al zon~ng for approval Mr R~pperdan seconded h~s mot~on. Unan~mously approved Res No 900 5 Report from Secretary Mr Neprud ~nformed the Comm~ss~on of the No~se Stud~es Mr Schm~tt suggested a res~dent who has qu~te an ~nterest ~n th~s subJect. Due to unfore~n problems the Board of D~rectors would l~ke more t~me before the~ne~t mee~~ng w1th the Comm1SS1o~ Statements of Econom1c Interest should be completed. Quest10ns may be d1rected to the C1ty Clerk or the C1ty Attorney Ground Break1ng Ceremony for the P E.
