H. Carson. Commissioners present, Brown, Smith, Grotemat, Carson and Powers and City Engineer Trigg. Letter trom Mr. A. E. Sugden ot theSecurity '!litle Insurance.Y' Company, 825 North Broadway, Sen ta Ana, California, requesting letter ot planning commission denotlng zone in which an apartment house at 1001 Ocean Ave., Seal Beach is located. Letter written with added intormation that a single apart- ment must have ett street parking space for auto per Ord,. #442. . The Planning Commission at the request of the Construction t1rD1 ot Butler - Harbour Co., who propose to build houses in tract 2590, determined the setback recommended tor this tract. These setbacks were &eter.m1ned atter discussion with Mr. Butler ani Mr. Harbour, their Architects, Mr. Brownell and Mr.. .Kill1ngs- worth. Ala 0 atter studying the proposed tloor plans, the planning canm1ssion wishes to publicly congratulate the Construction t~ and their architects tor very good house planning that shDuld be a vahable asset to the city of Seal Beach. The set back lines as adopted by the Seal Beach Planning Co~ssion and suggested for approval by the City Council ot the City of Seal Beach are as tollows: Minimum set back for a house with attached garage, Side opening garage 10 feet from front property line. Front opening garage 18 feet from tront p~operty line. Mim.mum setback tor residence bUild1ng to be 18 teet. Minimum rear line set back to be 10 Feet. Minimum side line set back for corner lot shall be 10 feet on stree t side. The narrow frontage shall be considered the tron~of the :bt.
