MINUTES OF PLANNmG COMMISSION MEETING OF AUGUST 14, 1968 The Seal Beach Planning Commission met in special session called by the Chairman in acco~dance with the rules and regulations on Wednesday, August 14, 1968, in the Council Chambers at City Halle Present: Absent; CrmJ1ey, Lanning, Peters Murphy The meeting was called to order by Chairman Crowley at 1:40 PoMa Mr. Murphy's absence was excused. Jim and Jeannie Critieg PR...IO...68 Mr. and Mrs. Critie, 6126 Oakbrook Ave., Long Beach, presented plans fo~ const~ction of a three...unit apartment building at 138 10th Ste, Seal.Beach (Lot 38, Block 10, Bay City Tract). Plans confo~m to Zoning Code ~equirements with sufficient space provided for entries from the side yardo Similar plan previously approved. Mr. Peters moved to approve the plans as presenteda Seconded by Mrs" Lanning and passed unanimously by the members presenta Resolution Noo 231" Plan Review - Belmont. Savings and Loan, PR...ll...68 . 20 Belmont Saving~ and Loan, 5200 E. Second St., Long Beach, presented plans for a cOIl)Il1ercial building to be located within the Leisur e World Shopping Center area on Westminster Avenue west of the inter- section with Bay Boulevarda Building conforms to zoning code. Landscaping and exterio~ lighting to be subject to approval by the Ci~ Eng1nee~ as a condition of approval. Sufficient parking available in the Center and traffic layout a~rangement satisfactory. Mrso Lanning moved to approve the plans as presented with the condition that landscaping and exte~ior lighting be approved by the City Engineero Mro Peters seconded the motion and it passed unanimously by the membe~s present. Resolution Noo 238. . 3. Plan Review - Revised Tentative Tract No. 6346 Suburbia, Inc", 1104 Eo 11th Stal Santa Ana, represented by Ralph Jenson, presented revised plans for tentative Tract Noo 6346 deleting Lot "An recently purchased by the City and incorporating additional land f~om the Pacific Electric right-of-wayo R~vised plans shall still confo~m to original conditionso Added conditions of easements for storm drain crossing Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15, thirty foot wide sto~ drain ditch located outside north boundary to be deeded in fee to the City, and up to ten feet at the northwesterly side of the 100 foot wide proposed boat and vehicle sto~age area to be dedicated to the City for fUtu~e st~eet right-of-way purposesg Mr. Peters moved to approve the revised Tentative Tract 6346 subject to conditions stated above. Seconded by Mrs. Lanning and passed unanimously by the members present.
