RESOLUTION NUMBER 1310
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, CUP 2-84, FOR
ON-SALE BEER AND WINE LICENSE FOR RANGTHONG THAI
CUISINE AT 600 PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY, SUITE 108
(BAY CITY CENTER)
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HEREBY RESOLVES:
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Ton Suckhasem,
19515 South Starr Circle, Cerritos, CA 90701; and
WHEREAS, the property is located in the Bay City Center
at 600 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 108; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as, Parcels"3 and 4,
in the City of Seal Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, as shown on a Parcel Map
filed in book 119, Page 42 of Parcel Maps in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County;
and
WHEREAS, the proposal is for a Conditional Use Permit to
allow on-sale beer and wine in conjunction with
a new restaurant (Rangthong Thai Cuisine) at
600 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 108; and
WHEREAS, other restaurant operations in the Bay City
Center have been compatible with surrounding
land uses; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does
hereby approve CUP 2-84 subject to the following conditions:
1. CUP is approved for on-sale beer and wine at 600
Pacific Coast Highway and issued to Ton Suckhasem.
2. That all alcoholic beverages shall be consumed
entirely within the building.
3. That the applicant shall comply with all restrictions
placed on his license by the State Department of
Alcoholic Beverage Control.
4. CUP issued is non-transferable.
5. There shall be no alcoholic beverage advertising
display devices located in the window areas.
6. To be reviewed by staff at the end of one year.
7. No sale of alcoholic beverages after 11:00 p.m.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 15th day
of February ,1984 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Jessner., Murohv. Co~ngton. Goldenberg
NOES: Commissioners None
ABSENT: Commissioners Perrin
