RESOLUTION NUMBER 1342
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING
COND1TIONAL USE PERMIT 15-84 FOR A WALK-UP/TAKE-OUT
RESTAURANT: TOM AND VICKI WINCH, 901 OCEAN AVENUE
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Tom and Vicki Winch, 4352
Pickwick Circle, #316, Huntington Beach, California; and
WHEREAS, the property is located at the northeast corner of Ocean
Avenue and Main Street (901 Ocean Avenue); and
WHEREAS, the proposed is for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a
walk-up/take-out restaurant; and
WHEREAS, a walk-up/take-out restaurant has operated on this site for
approximately 20 years; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City
of Seal Beach does hereby approve Conditional Use Permit 15-84 subject
to the following conditions:
1) CUP is approved for a walk-up/take-out restaurant
operation at 901 Ocean Avenue and issued to Tom -
and Vicki Winch the business owners.
2) That the applicant provide adequate trash facilities
as approved by City staff.
3) Approval subject to all conditions established for
Variance 10-84 and Conditional Use Permit 16-84.
4) That the location and operation of the take-out
windows be subject to staff review and possible
modification after one year if a sidewalk circulation
problem exists.
5) That the development be in accordance with the
floor plans as approved by the Planning Commission
and as modified by the above conditions.
6) CUP issued is non-transferable.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 19th day of ~eptember,
1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Covington, Hunt, Jessner, Perrin
NOES: Commissioners None
ABSENT: Commissioners Goldenberg
