RESOLUTION #1354 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 20-84 .FOR AN ON- SALE BEER LICENSE FOR THE WEENIE WORKS AT 113! MAIN STREET THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HEREBY RESOLVES: WHEREAS. an application was duly filed by Nanette Saslow Andrews and Janis Jane Thompson. 113! Main Street: for CUP 20-84: and WHEREAS. the property is described as that certain parcel of land in the City of Seal Beach. County of Orange. Lots 13 and 15, Block 8 of the Bay City Tract as per map recorded in Map Book 3, Page 19 in the office of the County Recorder of said county; and WHEREAS, the proposal is for a Conditional Use Permit to allow On-Sale Beer in conjunction with the existing Weenie Works Restaurant at 1131 Main Street; and WHEREAS, past operations of the existing restaurant have been compatible with surrounding land uses; and WHEREAS, a conditional license has been applied for from the Departmentof Alcoholic Beverage Control by the applicants which limits the use of the permit to those associated with a public eating place. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby approve CUP 20-84 subject to the following conditions: 1) CUP is approved for on-sale beer at 1131 Matn Street and issued to the Weenie Works (Nanette Saslow Andrews/Janis Jane Thompson). 2) That all alcoholic beverages shall be consumed entirely within the building. 3) That the applicant shall comply with all restrictions placed on their license by the State Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. If there is any chanee in the hours of operation by the A.B.C., the applicant is required to come before the Planning Commission with an amendment to this application without fee. 4) CUP issued is non-transferable. 5) There shall be no alcoholic beverage advertising display devises located in the window areas. 6) That the ter~ of this permit shall be for one (1) year, CUP to be reviewed by staff after six (6) months. At the end of the one (1) year period of time. the Planning Commission may extend the permit indefinitely provided that all conditions of approval have been satisfied and no significant police problems have occured. 7) There shall be no service of food after 12:00 midnight (April 1 to October 31) and no service of food after 11 p.m. (November 1 to March 31). \ . . PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of January 1985 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Commissioners Covington, Hunt, Jessner, Perrin, Ripperdan Commissioners None Commissioners None
