RESOLUTION NO. 1107
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AND CITY COUNCIL ON TEMPORARY RELOCATION IN CON-
JUNCTION WITH REDEVELOPMENT OF THE SEAL BEACH
TRAILER PARK.
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency and City Council have approved
Unclassified Use Permit, UUP-I-77 and Planned Unit
Development, PUD-2-77 for redevelopment of the eleven
acre Seal Beach Trailer Park site into a 140 space
mobile home park and 80 townhouse units; and
WHEREAS, the subject property lies within the bounds of the Re-
development Agency; and
WHEREAS, approximately 40-50 families will have to be temporarily
relocated during construction of the new 140 space mobile
home park; and

WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency is responsible for this temporary
relocation; and
WHEREAS, there is a two acre part of the subject eleven acre site
which is vacant and can be used for the temporary relocation
of the 40-50 families; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings regard-
ing temporary relocation:
1. By using the two acre site for relocation the trailer
park community will experience minimum disruption.
2. The residents to be temporarily relocated will experience
minimum inconvenience.
3. The expense to the Redevelopment Agency will be kept to
a minimum.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the Redevelopment Agency and City Council approval of
temporary relocation on the 2t acre site subject to the following:
1. The actual costs of temporary improvements related to
temporary relocation (installation and demolition of temporary
improvements) be paid by the Redevelopment Agency.
2. While the City owns the subject 2t acre site, the developer
should be charged a lease/rent per trailer space equal to the
lease/rent per trailer space charged by East Naples Land
Company.
